Chat With a Mormon Online
I love spending time with my family helping other's when I'm able. Most of the time I enjoy a good book but split my time with being outdoors when the weather is good. My whole life I've been of service to others in one form or another. Something that my parents helped instill in me from a young age. It truly does help you to put things in perspective when others are in need and you are able to lighten their burdens, even if it is just a little. To someone else that can mean the whole world.
I'm a convert to the church and recall hearing about mormon's when I was very young. I never truly understood what it was about until much later in my life. I've been a member of several denominations in the past but always felt like something was missing. It wasn't until I met my future wife, who has been a member her whole life, and began talking to her about her beliefs. I was accepting of them and very curious which lead to lengthy conversations. Over time I met the remainder of her family and felt an awe inspiring peace with them and the power of their beliefs. And after paying a visit to a open house for a newly built temple in Utah I was ready to join.
Every responsibility in the church is voluntary. We all work together helping one another. We each take turns teaching lessons during Sunday School which helps me to further my knowledge of the gospel in ways that I never imagined.
