How has your knowledge of the Plan of Happiness changed/benefited your life?

The Plan of Happiness is just that, it brings us happiness. It does not take away trials, sorrow, pain or suffering, but it gives us comfort, peace and joy by giving us eternal knowledge. We know why we are here, where we came from and where we are going after this life. This life is not the end. My mother-in-law passed away while my husband and I were engaged and although we felt a great loss and sadness, we felt peace in knowing we will see her again. This life is not the end. Families are forever. The Plan of Happiness reminds us of our eternal purpose. We are not living so we can buy a house or go on a big trip or retire some day, these things may happen and are good, but we have a greater purpose. Our purpose is to live now so we can return and live with our Heavenly Father. We have a greater purpose and that is to live worthily and help others on their way home too.
