Hi, I'm Craig
I grew up in California. My company makes products for people with disabilities, to communicate using a computer. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I grew up in a family of six children. I am a husband and father. I have two duaghters. I enjoy movies, sports, spending time with my family and serving others. I have the privilege of working for a company which makes a product for people with disabilities. Our devices are designed to enable people the freedom to operate/communicate through a computer, who otherwise may not be able to.
Why I am a Mormon
I remember teaching a woman on my mission in Australia. We taught her about Joseph Smith and the coming forth of the Book of Mormon. We explained to her that she could know for herself that what we taught here was true. She prayed and asked specifically if Joseph Smith was his Prophet and if the Book of Mormon was the word of God. The Spirit of the Holy Ghost filled the room and no words were spoken for a long time. Everyone in that living room that day could not deny these truths. I and my family had our share of challenges growing up. My older brother's life was taken when he was only 21 years of age. It is comforting to know that I can reunite with him after this life. It helps motivate me to do what is right, so that I may be found worthy of his choicest blessings in this life and hereafter. I know this is the Lord's church and I am blessed daily for living its teachings.
Personal Stories
Why do Mormons go on missions?
The Lord teaches that "where much is given, much is expected". We are called to share the precious truths of the gospel that we have been blessed with. Another gospel principle is tithing, or one tenth. If you consider that two years is one tenth of our lives by the age of twenty.
How I live my faith
I love serving others. I enjoy scouting. I schedule appointments for our bishop in my current calling. His love for the people within his stewardship in inspiring. I taught Sunday School for over seven years prior to that. I taught youth from ages 13-17. It is a great joy to teach youth and know that they are there to learn voluntarily and want to follow the Savior's perfect example.
