Rich: family man, basketball, Mormon.

Hi, I'm Rich

I'm a dad. I'm a financial advisor. I'm an Arizonian who speaks Portuguese. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married striving to teach and raise five (3 boys/2 girls) children. I am a financial advisor. I love sports and working hard. I love people. I lived in Brazil for 2 years. I speak only Portuguese to my children. I love laughing and smiling.

Why I am a Mormon

I know in my heart and mind that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true because of the Holy Ghost's confirmation to me. Each day I am grateful for the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It gives me hope, peace and joy in this challenging world. I have grown to know many of the answers to live's questions through the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I continue to learn more by attending church, studying the scriptures daily, praying to God and listening to the Lord's modern apostles and prophet.

Personal Stories

In what ways have your prayers been answered?

Many times the Lord answers my prayers through others. Other times it comes as a good feeling, tingles, a warm feeling over my body or peace to my soul.

How I live my faith

I serve currently as the Cubmaster in our Pack. I love working in scouting in hopes that I can make a difference for good to one of these scouts in becoming a better leader, father and citizen. I have an opportunity to visit on a monthly basis a family or two to share a message and of my love and willingness to help them in any way I can. I strive daily on to become a person God can rely on to help other people be happy. I often tell my children to remember that "attitude is everything!" I know that first and foremost one must have a desire and then the faith to become what it is that our Creator intended for each of us to become. That takes an effort, focus and hard work and I believe that nothing in this world worthwhile comes without hard work.
