I live in Nebraska. I am a singer, I am a dancer, I am a teenager who loves to have fun, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sing and dance. I also love football and love hanging out with my friends. I enjoy going to church activities and I love sharing the gospel with other people. I am easy to get along with and talk to. I love movies and I love star wars. I am a normal teen guy I love going on group dates with friends and driving. I one day hope to be a lawyer and I still have a dream to be the President of the United States. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon partly because I was born and raised in the church, however we must all go through a conversion. Mine came slowly and steadily as I learned more about the gospel, lived the teachings, and tried to follow the example of our Savior Jesus Christ I came to know that it was true. I continue to follow the gospel because I know of myself that it is true. I know I am not perfect and that I have my own trials, but I also know that by following the teachings of Christ we can become as perfect as possible. I know this Church is true and I know without a doubt that we can all be happy and live eternally with our Father in Heaven if we adhere to his teachings.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being charitable and by following the teachings of Christ. Am I perfect? Not by a long shot, but I know that if I really try then The Lord will make me stronger and that I'll be able to be Christ-like. I love to serve and hope that I may live my life in the service of God's children.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Tithing goes to the church to pay for all the things we do. Including building temples and church buildings. Its amazing that the church can function off of these tithes. It is a glorious program.

The money received from members in the form of tithing goes directly to the headquarters of the church where a council decides what will be done with the money. Here are some ways in which the tithing funds are used:
1. Build, maintain, and operate temples, meetinghouses, and other buildings.
2. Provide operating funds for stakes, wards, and other units of the Church. (These units use the funds to carry out the ecclesiastical programs of the Church, which include teaching the gospel and conducting social activities.)
3. Help the missionary program.
4. Educate young people in Church schools, seminaries, and institutes.
5. Print and distribute lesson materials.
6. Help in family history and temple work.

*It is important to note that tithing funds are not used to pay leaders of the church. All leaders of the church are volunteers and receive no form of pay.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No. We admire Joseph Smith and consider him a prophet of God and follow his teachings as we do with Moses and other prophets of old. The thing that makes Joseph Smith unique amongst prophets is that he helped to bring the Church of Jesus Christ back to the earth after a period of darkness which is known as the Great Apostacy.
