About Me

I am a mother of 4 beautiful children. I am also the wife of ONE AMAZING HUSBAND! I love education and always look for ways to further my secular and spiritual knowledge. I love my family very much and I love to enjoy even the smallest moment with them. There is nothing better than creating wonderful memories with the people you love.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was young my family belonged to the Church. However, we were not active. I would attend Church with friends and neighbors. I always felt such a peaceful and happy feeling when I was in Church. As I grew in the Gospel, I learned that the feeling was the Spirit. I knew that it was a feeling I wanted to have and keep in my life each day. As I have grown, I have developed my own testimony of Jesus Christ. I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I want to follow true principles that can help me return to him someday. I am Mormon because I have been blessed to learn of eternal families, and I want to be with my family throughout eternity! I love the Church and I love Jesus Christ and his Gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by staying active in my Church. I attend my meetings each week and I am uplifted and strengthened. I am blessed to serve with some amazing people and together we teach children ranging in ages from 18 months to 12 years old about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am also blessed to be able to visit and teach some wonderful women that live near me. I find comfort in their friendships. I love to serve and help them with anything that they may need. I am also very grateful that I can get the opportunity to go with the Missionaries to visit some wonderful people near my home. I love sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people I am fortunate enough to meet.

What is the Relief Society?

The Relief Society is an organization for women. Its purpose is to build faith and personal righteousness, strengthen families and home, and help those in need. The Relief Society provides many opportunities to serve those around you. Your life can be very blessed by following the example of Jesus Christ and serving others. So many wonderful relationships are formed and your faith and testimony can grow by trying to be like Jesus. The women in The Relief Society are wonderful examples of being a true follower of the Savior. Not only do they help and serve others, they uplift and teach one another. And they learn to care for and raise beautiful families in a Gospel centered home.

The Relief Society is the organization in the Church where women come together to strengthen, serve, and teach each other. It's Motto is "Charity Never Faileth" which women of the Church live by to bring relief to the weary and down trodden. Women meet as a Relief Society each week to learn about the Gospel and grow closer to Jesus Christ. Women are asked to serve in many capacities within the Relief Society and give of their time and talents. There are also activities where women share skills and do service for those in their community as well as victims of disasters around the world.

Do Mormons practice polygamy?

No. I am aware that there is a religious sect that does practice polygamy, however, our doctrine is definately about a one man and one woman relationship within marriage.
