Hi, I'm Benjamin
I am an aspiring Politician, a husband, a father and I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am a husband of one, father of two. I graduated from the university in my state in 2010, while working fulltime and raising my family. That was a difficult period in my life, with very little freetime to spend with my family or even just reflecting. I enjoy weightlifting and have grown more into crossfit training, as I enjoy being active. I am currently venturing into the wide world of politics with hopes to make a change in my community and help people understand and utilize the freedoms we have been given here in the United States. I also enjoy public speaking and was lucky enough to compete in a speech contest earning second place.
More than anything I want my family to be happy and enjoy the freedoms we have been offered. We can only do that if we, as a people, follows God's plan for us and use our talents in the benefitting of others.
Why I am a Mormon
I grew up in a family that taught me gospel principles, and thankfully I have never strayed. I have seen too many of my friends that I grew up with deviate from the course that God has revealed to us by holy prophets, and have witnessed the joys they have missed. I have the opportunity to be sealed to my family in live with them for all time. I cannot ask for anything more, but undoubtedly as I live the commandments I receive more. I have read the Book of Mormon and know with assurity that it is the word of God.
I am a Mormon because I knew that this church is the only church on the earth that contains the fullness of the everlasting gospel. The mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is to bring everyone, everywhere to the knowledge that God loves them. We are his children. Each one of us has a divine purpose on this earth, and we can do so much more than we can even comprehend if we choose to follow the plan that God has laid out for us. I am a Mormon.
How I live my faith
I and my wife try to volunteer wherever possible in order to teach our children the importance of service and to gain those experiences our selves. I have a calling as a hometeacher, this gives me an opportunity to visit the homes of others members in my area and teach them gospel principles and to be a point of contact when they may need something. Hometeaching is a great opportunity for me to serve and help others that may not have the same taletns or abilities that I do and vice versa.
