Hi, I'm Kelsey
I'm a student at Brigham Young University, studying English and Editing. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I'm a college student, studying English and Editing. I enjoy crafting (scrap-booking, quilting, floral design, decorating, etc). I am an avid Harry Potter fan, and cat lover.
Why I am a Mormon
I'm a Mormon because of the powerful impact the gospel has had on my life. The direction and comfort I have found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and my testimony of its truthfulness have guided me through any trial or question I have encountered in my life. I know that we are children of our loving Heavenly Father and he has provided a way for us to be exalted through the atonement of his son Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel to this earth and that we receive modern day revelation through the prophet Thomas S Monson.
Personal Stories
Why do Mormons do family history or genealogy work?
We do family history work because we believe everyone should have the chance to accept the gospel, even if they were unable to hear it in this life. We want to be with all of our family forever, and through the family ties we find through genealogy we are able connect to our ancestors in a meaningful way.
How I live my faith
I am currently involved in assisting those women in our neighborhood when they are sick or otherwise unable to run their homes the way they would like. I try to be a friend to women who are feeling lonely and visit them in their homes.
