Kyle: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Kyle

I'm a scientist. I had no religion. I had some friends that set a good example. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small suburb of Phoenix called Higley, AZ. However Higley has since grown into a giant city better known as Gilbert. Right now i'm a full-time college student with a focus in Geo-Sciences. My life long passion has been science hopefully one day i'll finish school with a Bachelors of Science from the University of Arizona. I am deeply in love with my girlfriend, Chanel, and are looking to get married soon in the Lord's temple. I love being active and outdoors and especially like to play soccer.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 13 years old. Even after baptism, life did not get any easier for me and i became less-active in the church. At first I led myself down a dark road. When I was 15 I witnessed a very close friend's death from a drug overdose. I decided i needed something new in my life, so i switched the school I was attending to one closer to my house and started over. At my new school, I had a lot of great friends that influenced me for the better and taught me more about the church. My senior year of high school a friend convinced me to attend a church summer camp known as EFY (Especially For Youth). That week changed my life forever. On the last day of camp, we watched a video of the Prophet of the church bear his testimony of Gods love for the youth all over the world. I had finally gained a testimony after five years of inactivity. I gained a testimony of Gods love for his children, and that he still calls prophets to guide us today. That testimony led me to serve a two year mission in south america. That testimony, and the influence of good friends continues to bless my life today. I know God loves everyone of us. I know that he still called prophets and apostles to guide us through troublesome times. I know Jesus Christ is the savior of the world.

How I live my faith

Going to church and answering questions friends may have help me live my faith. I am never ashamed to admit that I am a member of this church. I love answering questions people may have about the Book of Mormon or any other aspect of our religion. I love to see their faces when they come to understand that we too are a christian faith and share many of the same beliefs.
