About Me

I'm married with two children. My wife and I have been married for going on 3 years now. We met in college, she was a cheer leader and I couldn't keep my eyes off of her....... I enjoy building car sound systems. I enjoy building systems and then being able to enjoy them after they are complete. I really enjoy music and hearing my favorite music through a good quality well engineered audio system sends chills down my spine.... I also really like riding atvs and dirt bikes. I have been doing it all of my life with family and friends and I look for any importunity to go out riding.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints my whole life. My parents worked very hard to teach me right and wrong and they taught me that being a faithful member is very important. I am and continue to be a faithful member because of all the things that I have ever done, following the teachings of Jesus Christ has blessed me and helped me to be succeed more so than anything else I have ever done.
I continue to be faithful and I strive to guide my family in righteousness by obeying the teachings and doctrines presented to me through the Lord's church because nothing else has brought me so much happiness and peace. Life is full of trials and challenges and I cant imagine living with out the love and support of all the other faithful members around me. I have always had great church leader to guide me as well as holy scriptures to help guide me.
I know that this church is true and it is headed by the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that there is no better place for my self and family. Its my believe that anyone seeking true happiness now and for eternity will find it here and nowhere else. I invite you to come and try being a Mormon. Come enjoy the blessings same as I do......

As I see the blessings and benefits of my actions I realize that my actions were righteous and I want to make more correct choices so I can have more blessings and more joys...

How has the Book of Mormon brought you closer to God?

It is the most correct book concerning God and His son Jesus Christ and a man will draw nearer to such by abiding by its precepts. I have read the book and learned a great deal about God and Jesus Christ and their relationship with me. You should read this book it will do the same for you....

How I live my faith

My family goes to church each week. We enjoy wholesome family activities. We visit with other members regularly. I spend time with the local missionaries assisting them with teaching investigator of the church. My wife and I help plan activities for church in which we have cook outs and game nights. My wife and I take trips up to the Temple as often as we can.
We find our greatest happiness living our lives according to the commandments of the Lord. We enjoy good health by obeying the word of wisdom. We watch wholesome family movies, (our Disney collection is rather large).

What is a ward/stake/branch?

There is a lot of vocabulary that is unique to Mormonism, including the terms we use for our congregations.

A ward is a local congregation, usually made up of between 200-600 members. Wards have specific geographic boundaries, so which ward you attend would depend on where you live. A ward is presided over by a lay priesthood holder called a bishop.

A branch is similar to a ward, except it is smaller. They range in size from a single family to the size of a small ward. Generally, branches are in areas without a significant Mormon population, specific to a language, or for individuals who are single. Branches do not have bishops, but are presided over by a branch president.

A stake is a larger organization in the church. Several wards and branches, frequently around 12, will comprise a stake. The stake is able to support the wards and branches through additional resources and leadership. Stakes are presided over by stake presidents.
