Hi, I'm Jared
I love life I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I have been married for two years to a wonderful girl (it seems we were custom-made for each other) and have been spending most of my time working hard to build our family business.
I love the opportunity that we have in this world to make what we want out of our lives. I am passionate about America (and freedom in general), my family, my business, health/nutrition and my faith.
I love to play sports, be involved in politics, learn about good things and have fun with my wife. I am very excited to be able to soon have children of our own and have a big family.
Why I am a Mormon
Throughout my entire life, I have always felt deeply that there is more to life than just the physical world that I experience around me. I can't quite explain it in words, but I have always known, from very deep inside, that there is a God out there that loves me.
I am a Mormon because I know that this faith is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is true because when I study it, I feel a fire within me that I know is from God.
I had the opportunity to serve a two year mission for the church in Poland. What I experienced during this wonderful time has solidified my faith to the point that I can say that I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is not just words, but it is reality. Though this world may change and our lives may change, one thing that will not change is the truth of who we are, where we come from, why we are here on this earth and where we are going after this life.
I know that as we have the desire and take action to come close to the Lord, He will come closer to us. There is nothing sweeter in my life than the testimony that I have that the gospel is real.
Personal Stories
How has the Holy Ghost helped you?
I think of the Holy Ghost in my life like this: Imagine we are standing on opposite sides of the room, each holding a pitch forks that are tuned to the same pitch. If you were to hold your pitch fork and strike it on the table, it would make a sound. My pitch fork, because it is tuned to the same pitch, would resonate with your pitch fork and make the exact same sound. My fork would feel the vibrations from your pitch fork because they are both tuned to the same pitch.
In our lives, the Holy Ghost can resonate with our spirits if we are tuned to the same pitch. When this happens, we can feel his presence and be guided.
How I live my faith
I feel that the more I live my faith, then the closer I feel to God and the more peace and happiness fill my life. To me, living the gospel of Jesus Christ is literally the secret to a good life!
Reading the scriptures, writing in my journal (asking myself real questions about what direction my choices in life are currently taking me) and praying daily all keep me on the path that I need to be on.
My life is a result of the numerous small choices that I make every day. Though these choices seem very small and unimportant, they add up and have monumental results, so I try to make a habit out of making good choices. No matter how hard it might be, I strive to always do what I know is right. As I do this day in and day out, my life is full of abundance.
Though it may be hard, I know that as I make sacrafices in my life for the Lord and for others, it pays dividends of happiness and peace in the long run perspective.
Of anything that I have ever done in my life, living the gospel has had the greatest, most positive impact.
