About Me

I love to read and bake. I play the flute and can sing. I am a middle child, a high school student, and part of a marching band. I am a swimmer and a beginner tennis player. I am a Young Woman and president of my class. I am a Seminary student. I am a Child of God.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church. I have felt the confirmation of the Spirit that this church is true. I have been able to connect with the scriptures and apply my learning into my daily life. I love the companionship in this church and all its members. My Young Women class members are some of my best friends. I love all the General Authorities and Prophets of the church. I believe that their words are inspired and have answered many of my personal questions. I continue to enjoy feasting on the word of God through the scriptures.

How I live my faith

I am the President of my class in the Young Women's organization. I participate in my ward's choir and also an occasional youth choir. I attend Seminary every morning. I am in charge of Scripture Mastery in our class and love to help my classmates. I go to Mutual every week and come to my church meetings every Sunday.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost is a still, small voice. A thought or feeling warning you when something is wrong. We believe that when we are baptized, we receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. We always have the Holy Ghost as our companion as long as we are in places where he can dwell with us.

Are Mormons Christians?

I love this question. Having lived in Georgia and having spent time creating friendships with people of all different Christian denominations. I can say with great confidence and vigor that, Yes, Mormons are Christians. All who believe in Christ as our Savior and strive to follow in his footsteps, living as he would have us to, are in definitions Christian or followers of Christ.
