Hi, I'm Balinda
I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I grew up in a family that knew we loved each other, we did not have to say it we knew it. My parents never pushed me into any religion, but insisted that I not get baptized in any religion until I was of the age of 14 years. I love reading and learning all I can about my family. I enjoy searching out my ancestors. I love that Heavenly Father has prepared this world for us and I enjoy working in my garden and my yard.
Why I am a Mormon
I have chosen to a member of this church because it IS the true Church of Jesus Christ. It is the only church that I have investigated that offers the complete restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When I was taking the lessons from the missionaries, I had the undeniable, deepest feeling within my soul that what I was being taught was and is the absolute truth. I love the people of this Church. I bear my testimony that Heavenly Father lives and LOVES us ALL, so much so that He sent His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, to be our Redeemer and Savior. I testify that Jesus Christ is the Good Shepard and loves All of His sheep, that His Gospel is simple and true. I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is His only true church and I know, that through the prophet Joseph Smith, this Church has been restored for the great purpose of bring The Savior's lost sheep back into His fold. I know that if we "Come Unto Him" our blessings will pour from Heaven. I love Jesus Christ my Redeemer, Savior, Brother, and Friend and I do know that He LIVES! I testify this in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
How I live my faith
I have been called to serve as a teacher for the youth. I love teaching our youth the gospel. They are so very smart and sometimes, if not all times, I learn from them. I am so grateful that Heavenly Father has given me the opportunity to serve such precious spirits.
I also serve by visiting many of the women of my ward. I feel it is so important to try to touch the hearts of those who feel they are alone and lonely by showing them that I love them and care about them. Visiting them lifts my spirit and I hope I lift theirs as well.
