About Me

I came from a big family of nine. I love the outdoors and I love to play sports. I love working outside on my grandpas ranch and riding horses and rope around a little. I am a country music fan go George Strait! I wish to join the military after to serve my country. I love spending time with my family and Im serving a mission in Oaxaca Mexico where I hope to help other families come closer to Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church all my life. I've had my ups and downs, sometimes so down that I didn't want to be in the church and I've had ups so high that my testimony would explode in a way that I had to shout that the church is true! We all come across hardships and trials and through these trials we gain a learning experience of what the difference is between happiness and misery. I've noticed that only through the church and gospel of Jesus Christ with obedience to Gods commandments can we have that joy and happiness in our life and be free from guilt and sorrow. The reason why I'm a mormon is so I can have the truth of the gospel which brings happiness in all of our lives and I want to bring that feeling to everyone that doesn't have that truth. I know that through this church we can live with our families for ever and I'm willing to serve my Heavenly Father with all my heart to bring the truth to many souls here on earth so they can live with him again and be with there families again. thats why i'm a mormon!

Personal Stories

What blessings have come through your faith in Jesus Christ?

From my faith in Jesus Christ I know that I´ve recieved so many blessings. First I know that he lives and because I know that he lives I know that he is by my side to direct me in times of trial or in need. I know that through him that I can be forgiven of my sins and be directed and guided through repentance when I make a wrong choice. Like everybody else I do have trials and I always have asked for a specific and direct answer from him to what I should do, but faith comes by little by little and he works little by little and little by little in my everyday life I´ve been guided through my trials and repentance even when I didn´t notice he was there with me but I know he is there because he is Jesus Christ and I know that he loves everyone of us.

How does making right choices help us make more right choices?

Obedience is the key to living a good life and its dificult to attain that attribute in a world thats full of so many temptaions and with Satan tempting us all. But I know that we can overcome this challenge the more obedient we are because when we make a right choice its hard to notice but we begin to increase our faith and our love for Jesus Christ. Your Obedience shows your love that you have for your Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ and the more you show your love to them the more love they show unto you and when you are filled with his love which is peace and comfert and joy the less that you will be tempted and Satan will run farther away from you.

How has attending Church services helped you?

I like to attend church because young or old I make friends with everyone that Ive known for a long time by attending church and the activities. Also I made a promise with god that I would attend church for the rest of my life when I was baptized.
I know that attending the church services has helped me in my life with family with school, resisting temptation in my everyday life, and resist from getting into trouble. Because when I attend church I have the holy ghost as a guide during the week to help me do the things that are right that will help me becaome successful. And most of the time I dont even notice the big effect of church attendance has on me, but I do know that God commanded me to attend church services, and I know that he knows me more than I know myself and he knows how I can be happy and knows how I can be on the right path to eternal happiness and success in this life so I will follow that through his commandments by attending the church services.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary for my church here in Mexico, Oaxaca and im here to serve the lord for 2 years to bring the truth of Jesus Christ and his teachings to as many souls in these parts and I teach why and how we must come unto him in order to return with our Heavenly Father to be in a state of never ending happiness and to be with our families for ever and all eternity. This is a service that takes a big sacrifice to give up the worldly things and not able to see my family for 2 years, but I wouldn't trade the world for the spritual strength that I'm recieving here and seeing the families spiritual strength grow here. To me there is no sacrifice in serving a mission, Its a 2 year service of gaining nothing but much knowledge about my Savior Jesus Christ and how our happiness comes from his love for us and how through him all families can be together for ever in a state of happiness.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Definetly if you know any friends or aquaintances that are mormons you can talk to them and try attending church services on sundays if there are any close to where you live. The mormons are very friendly people that are desperate to talk to new people that attend church especially if you want to learn more about the gospel.
Also if your interested to learn about the gospel have someone set up a time for you to meet with the missionaries they will be guides and teach you all that you need to know about this gospel.
If you have no contact with any mormon or no church close by please call 1-888-537-6600 and we can arrange a couple mormons to visit at your home or any place to give you answers to the questions you have about the church.

How can we stop the spread and influence of pornography?

I believe that Mothers have the power to combat the evils of our day, one child, one bedtime story, and one encouraging conversation at a time. When we teach our children about their worth as children of God, they will find confidence in themselves, and they will be armed with the power to make correct choices and the wisdom to recognize that following Jesus Christ is the path to true happiness.
