Christine: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Christine

I'm a college educated full time mom, musician and designer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college graduate and a full time mom. When I am finished typing daily medical transcription for my doctor husband, I spend my time drawing children's portraits, sewing, reading and walking. I experience a lot of joy practicing and playing the organ at our church, and also being a volunteer for the high school band. My favorite role, however, is being the mother of five great kids and grandmother of three little cuties.

Why I am a Mormon

All my ancestors since the 1800's have been Latter-Day Saints. I have seen the peace and happiness the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought to our family through solid marriages and happy children. Our faith in Jesus Christ gives us strength to face life's challenges, gives us direction and peace. I want to pass this legacy on to my children. I have read the Book of Mormon and received a witness that Joseph Smith was indeed a prophet of God. I know that this is Christ's church restored in it's full glory, and that he is my Savior.

How I live my faith

Personal daily prayer gives me strength; I know I can do anything with God by my side. I love to the read the Bible and Book of Mormon so that I can know God's word and his purpose for me being on this earth. I volunteer in our Women's Auxillary to plan events that will teach our women to be self reliant in areas of cooking, literacy, health, finance, etc. Every other Sunday and at funerals I play the organ for our congregation. Also I have the opportunity to minister to the poor, sick and disable through our Women's Auxillary. When my children were young I taught Sunday School and organized midweek activities for the teens. I feel these opportunities give me a chance to learn to live as Jesus taught by serving others, and taking care of the poor and sick.
