Debbie: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Debbie

I'm a Mormon. I work for a telecom management company. I raised 5 children and have 3 grandchildren.

About Me

My parents were both Methodist when they were married. They joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was 3 years old. My dad was in the Air Force so we moved from place to place.

I love to sew, embroidery, and I am learning about quilting.

I work full time and take care of my husband who is on dialysis 3 times a week. Since his illness, I have learned to depend on the Lord and the scriptures. I am thankful for the small miracles that have been given to us these past few years.

I am a mother of 5 children and for the most part had the privilege of staying home with them for the most of their growing up years. 4 of the 5 are married. I have 3 grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

At first I chose to be a member of the church because my parents were. Now I am a member, because I have learned to love the Lord and I want to follow His leaders the prophets. I am thankful for being able to grow up in a church that believes in standards, that believes in families, that believes in the values and commandments that Christ teaches us. I am a member, because I know the leaders will not waffle under pressure from the outside world from the true doctrines that are taught. I know that Christ teachings are the same today, yesterday and forever. I know my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ love me and care for me, like they love everyone else. I know that Heavenly Father loves us so much He provided us Prophets and Apostles to teach and direct us back to Him.

How I live my faith

I listen to others. I help when I see a need. I pray for others. I visit women and leave with them a message to uplift them and teach them. I try to show kindness to others. I take time to be with my family when they need me. I read my scriptures to find answers to questions I have.
