About Me

Im homeschooled and am trying to graduate early so I can head off to college. I am an overacheiving slacker, before you point out the contradition, think about it....People think I overacheive, which may be true sometimes, but most of the time I procrastinate. I am who I am.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father, who loves me and I love Him. That is why I'm mormon.

How I live my faith

I am a first councelor for our laurel presidency, I love it! I love our youth activities and I am so very blessed to have made wonderful friends. I am greatful for all of the young women in my church that have made me feel welcome through my conversion to the gospel.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

I am a very visual person, so I imagine the Holy Ghost as a white floating mist that hangs above me. In my times of need it descends upon me and comforts me in ways that are unfathomable. It is a member of the Godhead (the Trinity) The Father, the Son, and....That's right, you guessed it! The Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghosts is with us. I had to struggle to feel the presence of the Holy Ghost before I was baptized, but when I did feel it's presence I was overwhelmed with emotion. It is the Holy Ghost that testified to me the truth of this church, and I am so greatful for its' blessings.

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

We do not know why some people are attracted to others of the same gender. Is it the way they were born or is it a choice? We simply don't know.

What we do know is that everyone is a spirit child of God, and that He loves all his children. We should love EVERY man or woman who walks the earth, and reserve judgment for our Heavenly Father, who knows and understands all his creations.

At the same time, God has revealed his will on many matters through his servants the prophets. Through them, we know that sexual relations between any but a man and woman, legally and lawfully married, is displeasing to Him. Just as unmarried men and women should remain morally clean, so should those who feel attracted to others of the same gender.
