I'm a wife to a wonderful husband, and mother to 3 very active boys. I love spending time with my family biking, hiking, camping, traveling, or just hanging out at home watching a movie. I love to road bike whenever and as much as I can. I also love spending time outdoors even if that means working in my garden or mowing my lawn.
I'm never alone! I know that my family is there, my ward members are there, but most importantly my Heavenly Father is there. He will never leave me alone! I was born and raised in the church, it's all I've ever known. But there have been times when I have questioned and asked if it was true, especially when times got hard. Now that I look back at my trials when I questioned the truth of the church I realize those are the times when my testimony has grown so much stronger. Families are forever! My father-in-law was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Which was so hard at first. But the spirit we felt from the prayers and fasting of those around us was the closest I have ever felt to Heaven and I know without a doubt that I will be with my family forever and it brings me so much comfort. I know who I am, I know where I came from, I know why I'm here on this earth, and I know where I'm going.
I'd like to say that I'm perfect... but I am far from. I try hard and sometimes it's easier than others. But I love my family, and I try to set a good example for my children in being honest, kind, and serving those around us. We attend our church meeting regularly and I do my best in fulfilling my calling. We have nightly family prayer and scripture study. My boys have come up with a new tradition of a 'Family night movie night' we have Family Home Evening each Monday night and then watch a movie together as a Family. They can't wait for Monday nights now!
