Natalie: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Natalie

I am the mother of three boys. I am an accountant and a writer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Arizona, and lived in New England and Central America. I am a divorced mother of three. I work full time as an accountant and am currently going to college full time. I spend my free time reading, writing, watching movies, and doing things with my children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but I have seen and experienced what life is like without the gospel. After I turned 18, I left home and stopped going to church and doing the things that I had been taught. I have never doubted the existence of God or the reality of his son Jesus Christ, it has been something that has been a blessing and a curse as different times in my life, but this knowledge has always brought me back to where my soul feels more a peace. After having children and seeing what being away from the gospel was doing to my family and my husband, I came back to the Church and have seen the difference. Being where I need to be and doing what the Lord has ask of me, has brought me a greater peace of mind and spirit than any earthly freedom, knowledge, or comfort has brought me. This is God's Church and this is His Gospel. It is something that screams from every cell of my body. I do not doubt it, and cannot deny it.

Personal Stories

Why do Mormons do family history or genealogy work?

For members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, families are the center of the gospel. We are all the spirit children of God, and the earthly children of Adam and Eve. We feel it is important to know not only who we are as children of God, but who we are as children of those who have lived and passed on before us. By knowing who we are and helping those who have passed on before, we can truly reach our potential.

How I live my faith

Other than obeying the commandments of my Heavenly Father, I think that how we act is the greatest example of our faith. My faith is in the Atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is my example. Living my life as a reflection of His is my greatest goal, seeing as He sees is my greatest desire. I try to show this in everything I do, from my school work and my employment, to my calling as a Ward Missionary.
