Adam: Mormon.

Hi, I'm Adam

I'm a big brother, a chess player, a disciple of Jesus Christ, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up mostly in Duchesne Utah, but I have lived all over the inter-mountain western United States. I have loving parents and two wonderful little brothers. We are a very happy family and we love each other very much.
I recently graduated from High School with an associate's degree of science from Utah State University. I love running, golfing, debate, theater, singing, drawing, government, engineering, playing with Legos, chatting with friends, tactical combat games, and being a missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it's the right thing to be. There's nothing in the world I'd rather be. Compared with living the gospel, everything else in my life seems relatively unimportant in the long-run. The most important things in my life, other than the church, are my family, my education, my good friends, my health, serving other people, and wholesome recreational activities. All of these are things the Church of Jesus Christ of focuses on, so I kill two birds with one stone, as they say.

How I live my faith

It's my philosophy that you don't have to be miserable to do what's right. In fact, it's quite the opposite. If you want to be happy - truly happy - in this life and the next, you have to make the right choices now. It doesn't always seem like making the right choice is fun in the moment, but in the long-run. People who make right choices are happy.
I live my religion by being happy - truly happy; that is, by making choices that bring real, true happiness; and then just letting joy fill my life. That, and gratitude to God for the blessings you receive, is all it takes. That doesn't mean I'm rich or successful in the world's eyes, but it means I am happy, and that's what we're all searching for, isn't it?
