Hi, I'm Heath
I'm a Teacher. I'm an AFL player. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I've just graduated University with a Bachelor of Education (secondary) teaching PE and Japanese. I've been married to my wife Kiersten since July 2009. I enjoy playing AFL for my local club the Yeronga Devils and also enjoy playing golf in my spare time. I have travelled to many different countries and look forward to seeing more of the world.
Why I am a Mormon
I grew up in the church with my parents and 7 siblings, attending church meetings and activities regularly. I learnt from a young age the importance of families and how the gospel blesses families. At the age of 19, I served a 2 year volunteer mission in Japan where I learnt the native language and taught people the basic principles of the Church. During these 2 years, I became closer to my Heavenly Father and gained a stronger testimony of the truthfulness of his Gospel. Understanding where I came from, why I am here, and where I will go after I die has brought me great comfort and reassurance that families can be together forever.
How I live my faith
I attend church every week. I participate in teaching the Mens sunday school class and help organise service projects. I also plan social activities for the members in our ward.
