Hi, I'm Bob
I'm a Mormon. My agnostic grandfather who challenged my faith in God. The Book of Mormon rekindled my faith in God.
About Me
I love to play the guitar and keyboards. Music been a moving force in my life. I have tried to play and listen to music that is uplifting and moral. After I got back from Viet Nam in 1966, I was offered a job playing in a band. I refused the job because I did not want to play in bars. I also knew the power of music and not want to imprint some lyrics in my mind. I am thankful for the good influence music has had in my life.
I also have worked with computers since 1966.
I have repaired TV's cameras, computer circuit boards to the component level.
I worked at KBYU-TV for 3 years.
Why I am a Mormon
The Book of Mormon has helped me understand that and believe in the Bible. When I studied the Bible before joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I was confused by the Old Testament. Why was is so different from the New Testament?
The LDS Church also helped me understand that Heavenly Father was a kind and loving personal God whe hears and answers prayers. Heavenly Father will help anyone who seeks Him. I saw a lot of ugly things in the Navy and the National Guard. I have had some tragic things happen in my family. My faith has been an anchor in my life. I have felt a joy that I would have never felt otherwise.
How I live my faith
I have enjoyed teaching in the Church. An intense study of the Gospel has opened a new world for me and I have been able to build the faith of others. I love sharing words of great leaders like President David O. Mckay, Truman Madsen, Brigham Young, Joseph Smith and so many others.
