About Me

I am retired and love the gosper of Jesus christ and love to be in service of my fellow man. I was born in Brewton Alabama, to Bertha and oscar Mallory. I was a Grad of Booker T Washington High School, went one Semester Ala State Collage.later in life I met my Wife in 1971 and we Dated for a short time , and got Married in aug. 4th 1971.we join the Church in Dec. the same year. We have one Daughter that is attending Clark Univ.working on her master

Why I am a Mormon

On my visits to the Church i could feel the Spirit. I had never felt this way before, and it helped me to make up my mind to get Baptised, and I did. I come to love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his exanple,I also love the other Testerment of the Gospel Jesus christ. The Book of Mormon

I live by trying to help others that need help and I do so from my Heart as a Missionary and bearing my Testmony , and doing what ever it take .

What is a ward/stake/branch?

Our local congergations are called wards if they are to small to call a qard then they are called a branch. they are oranized geographically, and members attend a ward or branch near thair home. because in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, all the Teaching material are consistent throughout the Wards and Branches..the Spiritual leader of each ward is called the Bishop(or the Branch President for branches). He is a member of the congregation who has been asked to serve as a volunteer in this position. a group of wards forms a stake,

For purposes of organization, a Ward or Branch is the group you meet with for church, based on where you live. They vary in size, branches are slightly smaller than wards, and wards vary in the various 100's of members. Wards and branches are then organized into stakes, containing several wards/branches.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Women have a divine role, as designed by Heavenly Father before we came to earth. We were given the sacred opportunity to be mothers and to work alongside the brethren of the church to serve, uplift, and strengthen others. Women are powerful and strong forces for good in the world. We must be careful, however. The world today often tries to demean the divine role of womanhood by over-sexualizing women or saying that they should be the same as men. Women and men are different for divine purposes. I don't want to be a man. I know that Heavenly Father sent me here to be who I am because I can contribute to this great work in a way that no one else can. I'm grateful to be a woman today.
