Hi, I'm Larry
I'm a retired Engineer.My wife of 46 years & I raised 5 children and have 12 graandchildren, and I'm a Mormon!
About Me
I was born and raised on a small ranch in Utah doing farming and taking care of cattle. I like to spend time in my shop repairing my farm equipment and making new things. I weld and do machine work as well as custom tractor work. I garden and have a small orchard.
My wife and I built our own house on 2 1/2 acres 43 years ago..
I've worked as an electronic technician, electrial drafsman, electrical maintenance technician, and design engineer, specializing in control systems.
Why I am a Mormon
I was born and raised in Utah to parents who were Mormons, but not active. I enjoyed going to church with my sisters. I enjoyed church basketball, scouting, and other church activities. I liked the idea of how the church teaches family values. I always knew the church was true, eventhough I became less active during my college years.
I met my wife, who was not a member, but I knew that I wanted a forever family. When our fist child was born, she was baptized.
We have a saying at our house and it is: "If it's not eternal, forget it!"
How I live my faith
I have enjoyed many different callings in the church. I have enjoyed working with the youth and adults. I love helping others who may be in need. Prayer and reading the scriptures is important to me, as well as doing my hometeaching to my assigned families.
Presently I am serving a Service Mission at the Bishop's Storehouse.
