I am married to a lovely woman and I have 2 kids of my own, 2 stepdaughters, 2 grandchildren and a very loving & caring nephew. I love movies, music & family-history.

Why I am a Mormon

My wife and I were crossing the State of Montana from Canada by car on our way back to Florida when suddenly in the middle of nowhere, I felt my a strong, but warm feeling in my heart; We were surrounded by light and my heart was full of love, my wife later told me that the car was like floating in the air surrounded by that light. With tears in my eyes, it was showed to me all the greatness created by God and my place in the Universe. I realized at that moment, that I was seeing everything with clarity and crystal clear for the very first time. I understood that I was like a grain in the desert and I was blinded by my ego. My wife and I have been alone all that time, regardless how many people we had met in our lives. A voice, then told me to go to his church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and promised that we would never be alone again. Upon our return to Florida, we went online & asked to a Representative to give us the address of the closest ward from where we were. Without hesitation, we went there on a Sunday morning and I said: "Hi, this is our first time here and we would like to know what we need to do in order to become a member of the church." The Missionaries gave us the instructions and I asked when we would be able to start to receiving the teachings. Long story short, couple of weeks later, we were being baptized and Jesus Christ did take all the bricks that I had carried over my life. All my mistakes, misdeeds, sins, all the pain and ghosts were washed away from me. The blessing of being forgiven by our Heavenly Father thru Jesus Christ will be in my heart forever. It's been only a couple of month since I receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, but I testify with all my heart, that the Spirit has already manifested itself for so many times and I am blessed for so many guidance and revelations given to me. I live my testimony in the name of our Savior & Redeemer Jesus Christ. Amen.

How has attending Church services helped you?

Every time I attend the Church services, it is like receiving a boost of divine energy. I feel the appreciation of the Lord in a very majestic manner; it's a blessing and a necessity in my life being there. When I am in there, I am home. I am with my family, brothers and sisters and our Heavenly Father is there too, watching over his children, his people. And as in any family, we support and encourage each other, we are strong for we are not alone. We sing, pray, learn and share our testimony with all the members of our family and we are blessed for doing so in our daily lives.

How I live my faith

My wife and I are "Ward-Missionaries" and our work is to share our testimony about our Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ.' It is a privilege to serve our Heavenly Father and our duty as members of the Church of his Son. The Holy Ghost provides guidance by giving us the divine inspiration to say what is needed to be said. With an open heart, we have been able to open doors which were closed before, our purpose is clear, well defined and our mission is to provide to others the opportunity and the assurance of being saved in the name of Jesus the Christ.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Our Heavenly Father sent us his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to die, so our sins could be forgiven through repentance. Without the Savior, there would be no hope to us of even being forgiven and to return to our Heavenly Father.

The fundamental principle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the faith in, reliance upon, and relationship with Jesus Christ. We regard Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world. Everyone on the earth today has made mistakes. All of us have come short of the perfect example that Christ set for us. The problem is the laws of God state that “no unclean person…hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.” (Ephesians 5:5) Because of these laws, we needed a way to be cleansed from these sins and mistakes. God knew that we would fall short of perfection and by His grace he provided us a Savior, Jesus Christ. Being a perfect soul without blemish, Jesus was capable and willing to take upon Himself our sins. Because He paid the penalty for our sins, the atonement, we must take upon ourselves His name to reap the blessings of forgiveness. We do this by having faith in Christ, admitting and repenting of our sins, and being baptized in the true and restored church of Jesus Christ.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Here is a simple step by step instruction on how to know Mormonism is true.

1. Meet with missionaries.
2. Pray to Heavenly Father with real intent and ask something like this, " I want to know if this is Your church, so is this Your church?".
3. READ THE BOOK OF MORMON! Ask God if it is true.
4. Look for an anwser from God. He speaks with us through our thoughts and feelings by the Holy Ghost. Ask the missionaries for more details.
5. Come to church to see for yourself.
6. Keep the commandments that the missionaries teach you.
7. Repeat until answer is received.
