About Me
Running is a new found love for me, I haven't done it for a while, but I have enjoyed getting into it. I love being with children and watching them play and learn. I am about to graduate with my Bachelor's in the School of Family Life, emphasis on Human Development. Not too long ago, I had the opportunity to go on a non-affiliated service trip to Panama, and help families and individuals in need. It was such a neat experience. I love trying new things and going to new places.
Why I am a Mormon
I have chosen in my life to be a Mormon, because the standards, although seemingly strict, have helped me to live life in a way I will never regret. I have been so blessed to be around so many people who love the Savior and want to live like Him. Growing up, I sort of just went through the motions of living the way that I was taught, but now I have a deep understanding and love for the principles taught in the LDS church, and I am grateful for the way they have blessed me.
Personal Stories
How has attending Church services helped you?
I have found that going to church on Sunday may not only be for my eternal salvation, but just to help me get through my week. It has been a blessing to me to be able to go to a service where not only one person speaks to you, but many people with many experiences speak, where I can relate with a lot of different people.
How I live my faith
Right now I am in charge of the women's society in my ward. It has been so fun to get to know the other women who believe as I do, and I have grown to love them. It is a wonderful thing, because when I am stressed or down, it seems like someone is right there to pick me up and help with anything I might need.
