Allison Waugh: Mormon.

Hi I'm Allison Waugh

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I love playing sports, mainly Basketball. That is my favorite sport to play. I absolutely love Seminary and learning about this wonderful gospel. I am a Senior in high school and am planning on going to college to study Physical Therapy. I want to be able to help people recuperate from injuries that they have had or after surgeries. Mostly I want to be able to be a sports physical therapist.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my dad got introduced to this gospel by a girl and he started taking Missionary lessons and decided to be baptized into this church. He then came to Utah and met my mom and they got married and had my brother and me. I absolutely love the gospel and everything about it. I learn so much from seminary and going to my church meetings. I am still going to church every week because after my brother left on his mission I have a better reason of going to church. I love my brother and the decision he made to go on his mission.

Personal Stories

How has attending Church services helped you?

Attending the church services has helped me a lot in my life. I have learned so much over the lat 18 years of my life. And most of it came from going to church and going to Sunday school. It helps me get to know my Savior a lot more than I did before. You can learn so much but you have to be receptive in order to be able to learn what you are being taught.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by engaging in different activities and being an example to all of my friends. I am the Laurel president and so I have a bigger reason of being an example to the young women in my ward and in my class. It has been a tough road for me. Troubles with friends affected me a lot in the past, but praying and talking to my mom and my leader helped me get through that hard time in my life.
