About Me
My life is full of tender mercies that the Lord has given me. I'm fortunate to be born in a large family. I have 3 brothers, 1 brother-in-law, 2 sisters, a niece and a nephew, and my mom and dad. They have all been with me every step of the way and support me in everything I do. From my personal experience, I can testify that the Lord truly does bless families. I'm very different than most people. I'm very tall, 6 ft 10 in to be exact, with a size 16 shoe size. I love to play any sports but mainly basketball and volleyball. I've played basketball since I was 10 years old and I've learned to love it. I've also played volleyball since my freshman year in high school. With hard work, devotion, and by the grace of Jesus Christ, I have been blessed by Heavenly Father with a basketball scholarship to play at a Division 1 College.
Why I am a Mormon
I was born into the church. I didn't really have a true testimony of the gospel until the Summer of 2011. I always wanted to believe that it was true but never had that powerful conviction that it was. But now, I can honestly say with all my heart that I know that this church is true. I am grateful for the Book of Mormon and have witnessed the power that comes from it. I've experienced miracles far beyond my own comprehension. Alone, the Book of Mormon has made an impact on all kinds of different people. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that Joseph Smith Jr. is a prophet of God because of the Book of Mormon. I know that the Prophet Joseph Smith received the same authority, the Priesthood Authority, to act in God's name as Christ had done when he was laboring here on earth. I know that modern day prophets are in our time with that Priesthood authority. President Thomas S. Monson is the prophet on earth today and he does receive revelation from God. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's Kingdom once again established on the earth today. If you have any question about this gospel, I invite you to read the Book of Mormon and then pray sincerely with pure intent. I know that if you do this, you will know for yourself that it is true. When you come to know this, change your life and let the blessings of your Father in Heaven come.
How I live my faith
I follow in my Savior, Jesus Christ's footsteps. I work daily on being more Christlike in my life. I know that by doing so and applying his teachings in my life, I can be more open to the Holy Spirit and can find an even closer relationship with Christ as well with my Father in Heaven.
