Hi, I'm Patricia A Johnson
I was baptised March 1984. I grew up during WWII and lived many places in America before coming to Colorado. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. That is the best resume' there is. I am also a genealogist and a writer. I can't imagine not doing those two things.
Why I am a Mormon
I became a Mormon when I married my husband. He was born and raised in the Church and I was fascinated with the LDS Church since visiting Salt Lake City in the 1960's. Although not extremely active, I believe it is true and I am blessed to be a member.
Personal Stories
Why do Mormons do family history or genealogy work?
Genealogy and family history is an important part of our belief. To identify our ancestors allows us to do religious work for them that they could not do for themselves. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints shares with the world the records we gather in this work.
How does making right choices help us make more right choices?
Making right choices makes life so much simpler and guilt free. A clear conscience is a wonderful gift and a blessing of good mental health for me.
How I live my faith
I participate in my community through my love of genealogy and family history. Teaching and helping others in this wonderful work is very rewarding. I am the Family History Center Inservice Instructor for my Stake. I love this calling.
