Why I am a Mormon
I was raised a Mormon but my conversion came at age 17 when I wanted to know if the Church is true. I knew that if I knelt down and asked my Father in Heaven if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was true or not he would let me know. I recieved an answer to my prayer and I know this church is true. We are all entitled to personal revelation, I know if you pray you can recieve an answer too.

What is hope and what do you hope for?
I recive my hope from the Savior Jesus Christ. Because he sacrificed for my sins I have a hope that I can be forgiven of those mistakes. He gives me strength to carry on and follow my desires to follow him. I hope that I can be worthy to return to live with my Father in Heaven.
Please share your feelings/testimony of Joseph Smith.
Joseph Smith was a curious young man. He had a desire to learn of the will of God. He asked God which church was true, at that time there was much religious excitement. Heavenly Father answered young Joseph's prayers. Joseph Smith sought only to bring glory to the name of Jesus Chirst and God the Father. He was persecuted for his beliefs and eventually gave his life for what he knew to be true. We do not worship Prophet Joseph Smith but we are eternally thankful for his sacrafice and devotion he had to bring about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Why do Mormons go on missions?
Latter Day Saints choose to serve missions for the Lord because of the love they have for Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ. I think of it like seeing a good movie, when you see a good movie you tell your friends about it. The Church is that "good movie" and we have desires to let others partake of the blessings we have recieved from being members of the church.
Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?
Prayer is essential in my day. I need to pray to my Father in Heaven because I need his help and I need his love. When I pray I feel a closer connection with him and I feel rejuvenated. I need his help to get through my day. I want his help so I can be a better person. Through prayer I have built a personal connection with God and his son, Jesus Christ.
In what ways have your prayers been answered?
I feel that God answers our prayers everyday just a lot of times we do not recognize those answers. I try to always look for the ways that the Lord is blessing me and answering my prayers. I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. He is there to help us, always. I have felt his comfort in my times of need as well as His excitement when I have expressed my faith. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me.
How does making right choices help us make more right choices?
When we make good decisions the Lord helps us and gives us added support in continuing to be obedient to his commandments. When we do good we feel the spirit, when we make poor choices we cannot feel the spirit of the Lord as easily.
How I live my faith
I try to live a life that is consistent with the teachings of our church and that is my way of showing my love to my Savior, Jesus Christ. I do my best to attend church everyweek and try my best to study the scriptures diligently. Like everyone else I am not perfect but through the Atoning sacrifice of Christ I am striving to be better continually.
