About Me

Hi my name is Jessica Titus here are a few things about me. My hobbies and talents are i like to sing, write stories, draw, i just found that i like sewing and cooking food. Type of classes i like to take at school is choir, math, foods, sewing, reading and seminary of course. In my family I have 3 brothers and no sisters and i have a mom and dad. I have two dogs a yorkshire terrier her name is Bailey and my other dog is a black labrador and his name is Mack. I am a senior in high school and i like going to girls camp and youth conference and i have made a whole lot of new friends at school. That is all that i have to say about me again I am Jessica Titus and I am a mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

because i believe the church is true and i know god lives and has died for us so that we can be with him again i know that the prophet joseph smith was a true prophet and i know thomas s. monson is a true prophet and i say these things in the name of jesus christ amen.

How I live my faith

I go to church every sunday and i go to young womens every wednesday.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

it goes for constructing temples, chapels, and other buildings. it also provides operating funds for the church and helps with funding the missionary program.

The money received from members in the form of tithing goes directly to the headquarters of the church where a council decides what will be done with the money. Here are some ways in which the tithing funds are used:
1. Build, maintain, and operate temples, meetinghouses, and other buildings.
2. Provide operating funds for stakes, wards, and other units of the Church. (These units use the funds to carry out the ecclesiastical programs of the Church, which include teaching the gospel and conducting social activities.)
3. Help the missionary program.
4. Educate young people in Church schools, seminaries, and institutes.
5. Print and distribute lesson materials.
6. Help in family history and temple work.

*It is important to note that tithing funds are not used to pay leaders of the church. All leaders of the church are volunteers and receive no form of pay.
