Hello world! I am currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love sharing the message of the Restoration with people. I love telling people what I know to be true; it gives me such a sense of accomplishment. I grew up in Utah and attended a university before I came on my mission. I am a Physical Education major. Playing sports all day with kids is my dream job. Growing up with all brothers made me tough, but also helped me love sports. I am an athlete in the fact that I love any and every sport. I love to play, watch, score, attend and participate in most any sports. My family are huge baseball lovers. October is the best time of year because of the World Series. I have been "adopted" into the Red Sox family and will stay there for the rest of forever. I grew up playing soccer as a young kid with my dad and brothers. I have developed a love for the sport and plan to coach some day.
Being a member of this church and living the gospel is everything. It is my way of life. It defines who I am. If you take away this church and gospel from me, I am no longer me. I have been blessed enough to have the opportunity of having the true gospel my whole life. Because of that reason I have come out here to Nevada to share the gospel with others. This gospel has helped me every day of my life and I want others to have that too. Sometimes it is hard to talk to people about their beliefs and about God, but then I think of how blessed I am and how much I have been given and I then realize that I have the responsibility to help others come closer to God.
Reading from the Bible in St. John chapter 13 verse 35: "By this shall men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." There isn't enough love in this world and I am trying my best to love others and help them feel God's love in their lives more. I don't want anyone to think of me not as a disciple of Christ, so that is why I try and love all, for everyone is great and important in the eyes of God.
I love my faith and I love being a Mormon because it's fun! Right now, I am priviledged enough to represent Jesus Christ and serve Him full-time as a missionary. I live my faith by talking to anyone and everyone who will listen (and sometimes not listen) about what I know to be true. It is an adventure at times to open my mouth to some people and go out everyday to help others. I am "Called to Serve" and I love it!
