About Me
I am the youngest of 3 and I grew up in upstate New York. I have a bachelors degree in biomedical science. I am currently serving a full-time mission for the church. I love learning, and plan to begin work on my ph.d when I return home. In my free time I love reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with friends.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a mormon because, it brings peace and happiness to my life. As I strive to keep the commandments given by God, I find joy in my life, even during the hard times. I know that as I keep the commandments that God can bless me and my family. It is not always easy to follow the direction that we are given from the Prophet, but I know that as I do so, it will only bring happiness.
Personal Stories
How has the Book of Mormon brought you closer to God?
Through reading the Book of Mormon my understanding and knowledge about God and Jesus Christ has grown. I understand better my purpose in life and why I experince specific trials. As I read the book of Mormon I can feel God's love for me and have personal questions answered.
How I live my faith
I am currently serving a full time mission for the church. I work everyday to help others understand what the Jesus Christ has done for us. Before my mission, I served in many different callings in the church, including helping organize activites, holding family home evening and serving in the Relief Society, the women's orginization of the church. Each time I serve, I have grown closer to my Savior as He has helped me to help those around me and understand their needs.
