Question:
How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Answer:
As you learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ, you may experience feelings of peace, comfort, or happiness. You are feeling the influence of the Holy Ghost telling you that what you are learning is true.

If you have a desire to follow Christ’s teachings and obey His commandments, you are first encouraged to participate in a series of six discussions that will introduce you to basic principles of His gospel.

Then, when you are ready, you can become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by receiving the ordinance of baptism by immersion for the remission of sins, followed by the laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
