Chat With a Mormon Online
Tracie and I are the luckiest people in the world. We have two amazing kids who keep us on our toes. We are both homebodies who love to hang out and watch movies, cook good food, and spend time with friends. We both love to ski, and so were always waiting for a bluebird day. I love the outdoors. Fishing, hiking and mountain biking help me not go crazy. Tracie loves art, sewing and is a great hair dresser. More than anything we love to spend time together with our kids.
I'm a Mormon because it makes sense in my life. Life is an uphill battle for me, and I often feel like I'm going the wrong way. The church gives simple answers to complex questions. Although sometimes, (most times) we don't understand why certain things happen in our lives, we always feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel. I have learned that perfection is not an option for me in this life. If I can just give it my best shot, and not give up I believe that Christ will lift me the rest of the way. It's not always easy being a Mormon. We struggle with questions about faith and why things happen the way they do. The one thing I know is this, when I live by the principles I know to be true I feel at peace, even in dark times. That's enough for me.
I live my faith by taking care of my family the best way I know how. I try to be kind to people, and treat others with respect. Living my faith means listening to all sides of an issue and showing compassion to those whose beliefs and opinions may not be in line with what I believe. Tracie is a great example to me of what it means to be a Mormon. She has the ability to sense when people are in need, and doesn't hesitate to offer her help. She really loves and cares about people in a way that is beyond simple friendship.
