About Me
My wife and I are the parents of four grown children and enjoy our empty nest quite a bit. We've also just begun to discover the joys of grandparenthood. We are native Californians and think Utah is a great place to visit...for a few days. :-D I'm a high-tech entrepreneur with an engineering degree and 20 years of global business experience in the computer software industry. I am a political moderate and have been a registered independent for over a decade. My loves include music, literature, teaching, and the dispassionate, respectful, and intelligent argumentation of important issues.

About Me
My parents were Mormon, but I grew up in South Carolina so I was one of maybe 4 or 5 Latter-day Saints in my high school of 1600 students. I was in the marching band, and on a city league swim team during the summers. I was a full-time missionary in Los Angeles and southern Brazil. When I returned, I finished college and then went to medical school. At work I am a professor at a medical school. I do brain imaging research on Tourette syndrome and Parkinson disease. I love trying to figure out how the brain works and how diseases can change our behavior. Away from work, I like to read and spend time with my wife and children.

About Me
I program computers for a living. I started out in computer graphics in 1976 when it was not a household word. Originally I wanted to do computer graphic movies but that was about 19 years before Pixar made their first feature film so I ended up doing flight simulation instead. Later I got into analyzing computer programs and generating web pages from them. Now I'm using supercomputers to analyze data for the US government. I married a woman with three half grown kids. I adopted them and then we had three more together. That really helped cement the family together as the older kids loved being big brothers and sisters to the little ones. My wife died when our youngest was 18. I remarried and acquired three step children in their thirties and 10 now 12 step grand children. Two of my children now have children as well. One of my daughters is now like a sister to the step-daughter who introduced me to her mother. I love choral singing. I served in the Mormon Tabernacle choir for 4 years 1987-1991 when I lived in Salt Lake City. My wife and I now sing with the Mormon Choir of Washington DC.

After 25 years I returned to school. I run a family business with my husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me
I married at the age of 19 after attending college for only a a year. My husband went into the military for several years and then went back to school on the GI Bill. We had 4 children when he began and then 6 by the time he finished. We ended up with eight children. When one of my youngest daughters began college she had to sign up for a biology class that she was very worried about taking. She wanted to take it with me so we could study together. So I signed up for the biology class and what a great experience it was to go to school with my daughter. I went on to get my associate degree in business and am now working on a 4 year degree. All my children are raised but I am busier than ever while I help my husband in our family owned business and with being a grandmother to 12 beautiful grandchildren. It seems your adult children do not stop needing your love and interest just because they are married and on their own. When I want to relax I write poetry or play the piano. A good mini vacation for me is being able to wrap up in a blanket and read a book from cover to cover in 1 to 2 days which rarely happens! Life is challenging but wonderful as well.

I'm a Mormon. I moved after 30 years as a Minnesota resident and we are involved with our family, genealogy and family history.
-
-
About Me
I am a Dad who has an adorable wife and six great kids. We also have a bunch of terrific and active grand kids who insist that my free time be spent jumping on the trampoline, pushing them in our front yard swing and reading to them. I recently retired and am now serving a full-time mission in the Family History library in Salt Lake City, Utah. I believe that there is nothing more important in life than family. Professionally, I had spent the last 35 years advising people on how to organize their personal, financial and family life. Over the last few years I have gotten REALLY involved in researching and writing family history stories and doing my genealogy. I volunteer a good part of my time answering questions about how to organize family trees and search out our ancestors. Family, ancestors and helping others makes my life fulfilled and happy. It is hard to explain but when people are involved in learning more about their family, they wind up feeling a lot of peace and joy in their lives.

About Me
I live in Texas with my husband. I love crafting, creating, and making something beautiful. Cooking is my passion and I love being in the kitchen. I am a student studying psychology during the day, and a wife in the evenings. My husband is my rock and I love nothing more than being Mrs. C. My husband and I laugh daily together, and our home is always full of love and laughter. I love having friends and family over for dinner and feeding them until they can eat no more. We love to go on adventures and trying new things. We LOVE food and trying new places. We hope to expand our family one day through adoption. We want a house full of noises of little foot steps and cute little giggles. We are preparing for the day when we are blessed to become parents, but until then we are enjoying our little family of two.

About Me
I'm the oldest of 5 kids and both parents were/are teachers. My wife is now a teacher and I am also a certified flight instructor. I guess I am surrounded by people giving instruction. I have 4 kids of my own from a previous marriage and 1 stepson from my current marriage. I love flying! I started flying right out of high school and later became a Commercial licensed pilot. I still hold a current CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) certificate. I also took up scuba diving in 2008 and love diving as often as time permits. I ride a motorcycle to work about as often as weather permits. I occasionally take my wonderful wife on longer rides too. Among other hobbies I also love to wakeboard/waterski and take my kids camping. I love baseball, but go figure my boys are more into football. I also play the saxophone and piano. All of my kids play instruments and 3 of them also play the saxophone just like dad.

About Me
I have always been a member of the church, baptized at 8, went through a period of inactivity, but never waivered in my testimony of the truthfulness of the church. After coming back into full activity of the church some 36 years ago, I have served as a Bishop, Stake Presidency, a mission as a senior couple in the wonderful country of Cambodia, two church service missions, and one mission serving Young Single Adults with my beautiful wife. Many years ago, while reading the Book of Mormon, I was overcome with a flood of tears. I recognized it was that sweet spirit whispering to my soul of the truthfulness of this divine book. I knew it was true, My Father in Heaven knew that I knew it was true, and I could not deny that. Since that time, I have never questioned it, but have moved forward with steadfastness, and can testify that I have been truly blessed. Two beautiful wives (my first wife passed away after 32 years of perfect marriage, and now 22 years of perfect marriage with my wife today), Five children, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. One grandson who is on a mission to Budapest Huhgary, and another who is preparing for a mission. What more can I ask for.

I grew up in the mountains of Arizona. My occupation was a timberfeller for 40 yrs. I Team Roped for fun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me
I grew up on a small sheep ranch and farm in the White Mountains of Arizona. When I was 9 yrs. old I went to work on a cattle ranch for $1.00 a day. The summer of my 13th year I went to work with my father in the log woods, cutting timber. I worked as a timberfeller for 40 years. As a youngster, my job was to keep the birds out of the orchard as we needed the fruit for the family. When I was 5 years old I told my mom," I'm going to go kill a turkey." She said, "Alright." I took the 410 shotgun, walked to the garden, shot a turkey, dragged it home and nearly gave momma a heart attack! My wife and I were married after highschool and raised 8 children. We now have many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We have been married 52 years. As a young man, I hunted mountain lions, there was a bounty on them at that time of $75.00. I only made about $8.00 to $10.00 a day and the extra money was very much needed. For many years I competed in Team Roping events throughout the Southwestern states of America. I had a partner 19 years my senior and our last roping event he was 85 years old. I now build log homes (cabins), garden, hunt, spend time with family, fish with the neighbors, gather cattle for local ranchers, and serve others in the community.
