Hi, I'm Elba - People

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Puerto Rico, and found the Church in Chicago, IL.

About Me

I strive to be righteous in order to return to live in Celestial Kingdom together with my family forever, with My Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Every day I thank My Heavenly Father for all the many blessings I receive and ask Him to let me have The Holy Ghost so He can inspire and help me to be a better person today than I was yesterday, so that tomorrow I can be a better person than I am today. I have a very strong testimony of Jesus Christ's mission here on Earth. He came to atone for my sins and the sins of every human being that has lived, lives now and will ever live on the Earth. He made it possible for us to return to live with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ after we resurrect, if we repent, get baptized by someone with the proper authority, continue to live righteously and make all the necessary covenants with Our Heavenly Father in one of His Holy Temples. I testify this to be true, in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Hi, I'm Sam Sargeant! - People

I have red hair, I love zombies and Lambo's. The Book of Mormon is the best book ever. I live in Minnesota and I'm Mormon!

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. My interests are in technology, science and multi-media. I attended a University in Utah and am currently serving a LDS Mission in Minnesota. One of my greatest accomplishments was losing over 100lbs. My ultimate goal in life is to have a happy family and to be the best father and husband I can. I've been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my whole life, but I was converted to Christ and His gospel when I was between 16 and 17 years old. Currently living in the Twin Cities area in Minnesota.

Hi, I'm Chad Aaron - People

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Camp Pendleton , Ca. to a Marine Father and a loving Mother. I grew up in Northern Utah.

About Me

I learned about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and how He had suffered for my sins. I wanted to become more like Him and started going to the Mormon church after going to several other churches that felt good but the same spirit was missing that I had felt in my youth going to Mom's church the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints. I fasted and prayed to know if the Book of Mormon was true and the Holy Spirit confirmed to me it was true. I then received what is called a patriarchal blessing which is a specific instruction and blessing for me if I keep God's commandments. I wanted to share this great gift of the gospel with others and was called to teach the people of Texas, New Mexico and Arizona who speak spanish and I did not speak spanish. Through two months in Provo, Utah and after much prayer and fasting I became fluent and taught in spanish for two years. I know that we are children of our Heavenly Father and that He sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ here to earth to lead and guide us by example and through the power of the Holy Ghost. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith in the sacred grove to restore the true church of Jesus Christ to the earth through Prophets on the earth once again. I know the Prophet Joseph Smith translated ancient golden plates into the Book of Mormon which is another testament of Jesus Christ to sons and daughters of God here on this land over 2000 years ago in the name of Jesus Christ, amen

Hi, I'm John. - People

I grew up in Oregon. I'm a dad, a doctor and a Duck fan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Oregon. Participating in sports and attending University of Oregon sports events (football, basketball and track) were a big part of my life. I am still a Duck fan. I live in the Midwest with my wife and children. Like my father and my grandfather, I am a doctor. I practice diagnostic radiology. I like to read, write and teach. I like to be outside on nice days--especially when I get to use my chainsaw. We attend Shakespearean plays every summer. Our home is something of a gathering place for our children's friends. My wife and children bless my life daily. My religious beliefs add meaning to every activity of my life.

Hi, I'm Brother RodgeJr. - People

I love Jesus Christ, my mom, my wife and step children and I have two kids of my own; I am a happy, loving man and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am proud to be an American, in this day and age, as well as a member, of the Lords church; The Church of Jesus Christ, of Latter Day Saints (in these the latter days) I like to write a little, but I haven't had anything published, as of yet and possibly never will, and this is why I do not call my self an author. I write mostly in a poetry format. I believe Jesus Christ to be our brother, and OUR Heavenly Father to be the one over it ALL; and when I say all, I do not believe that we as humans can grasp what ALL is; I mean we have discovered galaxies, out there in the great abiss, then why not a universe like this; maybe we shall see it, when He comes again. We do not even know, but we can pray to our Father, in Heaven, and know. For all of the righteous things in life come to those that seek and knock, to find what they are after.

Hi, I'm Jared - People

About Me

Hi, I'm Jared. I've loved to learn all my life, and so, no surprise, I became a teacher! Although endorsed as a language arts teacher (I love the art of words and the power of writing throughout the ages), I also love astronomy, history, biology, anatomy, visual arts, and social arts and culture. My wife and I found each other via online dating (yes, it can work!), and have one beautiful child. For hobbies, I enjoy hiking, creative writing, analytical writing, designing solar systems, and designing "alien" societies. I also love video games, where I can experience virtual realities or simulations (which works well when you like to write sci fi or fantasy).

Hi, I'm Ryan - People

I love playing sports, hanging out with friends, and spending time with my family. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hey, how's it goin? My name's Ryan and I'm from Danville, California. It's in the Bay Area! I have a Dad, a Mom, and a Step Mom! I have 2 older sisters, and 3 younger half siblings - 2 half sisters, and 1 half brother. I love my family - they are the most important social unit for time and all eternity and I care about them a lot! I care a lot about my friends - I have great relationships with great people, whether they are "Mormons" or not. In fact, most of my friends aren't members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - but that doesn't mean that they are bad people! Just because someone is a "Mormon", doesn't mean they are perfect. At all. I respect my friends that aren't "Mormons"; I'm grateful for them, appreciate them, and above all else, I love them. I enjoy being with my friends. They have helped me in countless situations throughout my teenage years and truthfully have been there for me. I've experienced a lot of amazing moments with them. Whether it's been through athletics, school, hanging out, the gospel of Jesus Christ, ownin' them in xbox, or whatever else - they're awesome and I have lots of great memories with them. I obviously love playing sports as I mentioned with "athletics". I love basketball, volleyball, and football. I love kickin' it with friends and family. And I am currently serving as a missionary for the Lord Jesus Christ in the Fort Worth, Texas area.

Hi, I'm Dave - People

I'm a language lover, a music maker, a multicultural food devourer, a teacher of my kids and grandkids. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love pulling people closer into my circle and expanding my circle to include them. I love the languages and cultures and the people of Central Asia, and I enjoy being a language administrator. Most of my co-workers are Muslim, and I love working with them as we create textbooks, multimedia materials and mobile apps for Turkic and Iranian languages. We also teach language and culture to students from academic, business, military and other governmental organizations, many of whom later travel or work in Afghanistan, Western China or various Eurasian countries. I enjoy creating music, vocal and instrumental. I also love roller coasters and stormy weather. I’ve been laid off twice. Despite trials and defeat, I have always felt a success as a parent, and as a result, I’ve felt successful in general. I love my wife. She is an organizer extraordinaire; her influence as a teacher of youth cannot be measured. We are empty nesters with six amazing adult kids, a daughter and five sons. We have a bunch of wonderful grandkids. My favorite age is the teenage years. I love having teenagers; it's when their hearts and minds kick in in full gear. Teenagerhood -- well prepared for -- is a joy. Real travel for me starts where English is not spoken and dollars are not used. I love eating international foods of all sorts and discussing them with my family. I enjoy talking to folks of all sorts; I love learning from people who aren't like me.
