About Me
I am the oldest of 4 children and the only son. I was born, raised and spent most of my life in South Carolina. I enjoy a variety of music but Michael Buble' happens to be 1 of my favorite artists. I also enjoy travel. I have been to 43 of the 50 states in the United States (Alaska, Hawaii, Michigan, Minnesota, Oregon, Washington & Wisconsin being the 7 states I have not yet visited). I served in the United States Navy back in the 1980s.

About Me
After I graduated from BYU, I taught English for three years in Utah. I thought about a Masters degree. I didn't want to do English literature or education administration. Br. Douglas told me to choose something that I really enjoyed--I chose film. Now I'm a film student in Colorado looking forward to graduating and starting a whole new career. I've always loved reading, which led me to love writing. I have a novel and a movie script in process right now, and I love attending writing conferences and listening to the podcast Writing Excuses (www.writingexcuses.com). My dream is to someday be a full time writer and direct my own movies.
