About Me
By profession I am a cartographer, and before that I was a pizza delivery driver and a juggler at an amusement park. I graduated from college in December 2002 with a degree in Geography. I married my lovely wife in January 2003 in the Mormon Temple in Los Angeles, California. We currently live in Southern California, and have three daughters. Besides my religion and my family, the most important thing in my life is being creative with playing electric guitar, juggling, drawing, and writing. I'm also a fan of Major League Baseball, and played baseball for about ten years when I was younger.

About Me
Hi, I'm Jared. I've loved to learn all my life, and so, no surprise, I became a teacher! Although endorsed as a language arts teacher (I love the art of words and the power of writing throughout the ages), I also love astronomy, history, biology, anatomy, visual arts, and social arts and culture. My wife and I found each other via online dating (yes, it can work!), and have one beautiful child. For hobbies, I enjoy hiking, creative writing, analytical writing, designing solar systems, and designing "alien" societies. I also love video games, where I can experience virtual realities or simulations (which works well when you like to write sci fi or fantasy).

About Me
I program computers for a living. I started out in computer graphics in 1976 when it was not a household word. Originally I wanted to do computer graphic movies but that was about 19 years before Pixar made their first feature film so I ended up doing flight simulation instead. Later I got into analyzing computer programs and generating web pages from them. Now I'm using supercomputers to analyze data for the US government. I married a woman with three half grown kids. I adopted them and then we had three more together. That really helped cement the family together as the older kids loved being big brothers and sisters to the little ones. My wife died when our youngest was 18. I remarried and acquired three step children in their thirties and 10 now 12 step grand children. Two of my children now have children as well. One of my daughters is now like a sister to the step-daughter who introduced me to her mother. I love choral singing. I served in the Mormon Tabernacle choir for 4 years 1987-1991 when I lived in Salt Lake City. My wife and I now sing with the Mormon Choir of Washington DC.

About Me
I keep myself pretty busy. Probably too busy. I own a small marketing company. Some of our services include graphic design (logo design, brand/identity development, etc.) and website design. We also offer face-to-face promotions for our clients. These services are most common for the restaurants we work with. I am a musician. I play trumpet, trombone, piano, and play-with the guitar. I have been in several bands over the last 15 years. The music my bands play is called Ska. The music originated in Jamaica. I also write Christian/religious music (hymns and uplifting music). I have been married to my beautiful, wonderful wife for 10 years. We met in high school and have been "dating" since then. At this point, we have one 12 lb son named Titan - a long-hair Chihuahua. My wife and I center our life around the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We love the Savior and we are grateful for His life and example. I know that it is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved and forgiven of our sins and short-comings. I know that there is a God and that He is my literal Father. I know that He has a plan for us. I know that He loves all of His children. I am so very thankful for this knowledge. My testimony and knowledge of these things has truly blessed my life in so many ways. The Holy Spirit has borne witness to me that the Holy Bible and The Book of Mormon are true scripture. I know that the Bible is true. I know that The Book of Mormon is true ancient scripture - a history of a civilization which inhabited a portion of the ancient Americas. The Holy Ghost has testified to me of these truths. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's Church on the earth in these last days. I know that God lives and that Jesus Christ is His literal Son. I know that it is through the atonement of Jesus Christ that I can be forgiven of my sins. Knowing these truths with a surety is an incredible blessing in my life and a blessing to my family.

- Hi, I'm Emily - People

-
About Me
My name is Emily, and I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 27 September 2009. I am Deaf, but received bilateral cochlear implants in 2010. I found the church through my ballroom dance teacher and his wife (who became my best friend). Because I grew up in a divorced home with many difficult issues, their example to me of what a family could really be was critical in my process of learning about the church. My conversion took nine months of intense study, as well as behavior changes that included giving up alcohol, coffee, and piercings. Oh, and things like chastity and tithing. And learning that I do love my family, after all, and all the repentance work that comes with discovering what that means. I heart the Temple with all the heart I've got. I have gone almost every week since I got baptized. It has brought much healing to me and to my family. In my professional life that is an attempt to be self-sufficient, I am a licensed therapist with my PhD. For fun, I love ballroom dancing, and wandering through nature to write and paint. I enjoy taking pictures for my blog. I am single still, and that has been important for me to take time on my own to learn who I truly am as defined by Heavenly Father rather than defining myself by other people. I am a daughter of God! I know that marriage is an important part of the plan, and I look forward to getting married in the Temple when it is time. I have a little dog that I love very much. Even though he is ugly.

I'm a full-time mother, and that keeps me very busy. I'm also intermittently working on a bachelor's degree.

About Me
I love fishing because I can get away from the hussle and bussle of the world, to enjoy the beauties of nature that God created for us all! Such as eagles flying high, the peacefull sound of a river, & bright colors of wildflowers. It's also a time which I can enjoy the company of my family who I love! We've been fishing the same river for 60+ years. I played Golf on my high school team, now I just play for fun with my family. I love John Wayne everything. I collect many things. I live at home with my Mother, Father, and older Brother, Collin, who's Autistic; with this I've learned a lot about others who have dissabillities and I've come to know that everyone, no matter what ailments we may have, that we're still God's children and he loves everyone the same! My family is awesome! I love stories of my ancestors. I attend college. I served a mission in Western Washington State, in which I've learned many things about how God works and how we obtain blessings in this life from being obediant to his commandments! I've gained a powerfull witness of how Jesus Christ's Atoning Sacrifice works in all of our individual lives; thru him all our weaknesses can be made strong...and that's just a start on its power! I was baptized at age 8. I've felt the influences of the Holy Ghost in my life in which I've had to learn to listen to it. By doing so, I've seen the miricles of God in my life. This is one of the ways I've always known the church is true, that God still speaks to us today.
