Hi, I'm A.J. - People

I love Camaros and lizards. I'm a skydiving, quadriplegic father of two boys. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 37 year old father of two awesome boys, ages 9 and 6. I love being a father; there is no better calling. I teach high school Spanish and love my "other kids" too. At the age of 21, I was involved in an automobile accident after hitting a patch of black ice on the highway and as a result, I am now a quadriplegic. Doesn't much matter though- I have learned that experiencing life is great, no matter what the circumstances. After working in front of a computer screen for three years after getting a degree in college, I decided to try teaching high school. After an hour the first day teaching, I knew it was for me. I love the Spanish language, and teenagers. I Can't believe I get paid for what I love to do. It's a blast. I like going to the park with my kids, sitting around the fire pit with my sons telling stories, the outdoors and the warm sun on my shoulders, watching movies, going on Slurpee runs with my boys, participating in church, in cub scout pack meetings, writing, photography, computers, and Photoshop. I'm a huge fan of Camaros and most muscle cars. I like to set and accomplish worthwhile goals. Chocolate See's suckers, shrimp, cashews, and beef jerky are my favorite foods. I love survival movies. I like listening to rock, alternative, and classical music. I listen to audio books to fall asleep at night.

Hi, I'm Penny - People

I'm a Song Writer, and I'm Mormon!

About Me

We are happy to be a part of our Savior's work and our Heavenly Father's great plan of salvation on the face of this earth as we know it today. I have been a member for 37 years. As children of our Heavenly Father we know it is our choice (Free Agency) to live the life we have chosen for ourselves that in hopes: will be the right path, will help build us up in righteousness while testing our faith. We can then return to Heavenly Father; stronger, wiser, and ready for our life that will continue for an eternity. (The Entire Book of Mormon & The Bible) When we do all that is required and keep the commandments faithfully we are exercising this free agency. We need to walk in the Savior's footsteps, however we all know sometimes in this life is not easy to do. (BOM, 2nd Nephi 2: 27) We ALL will return, we will ALL be resurrected , but the Lord is GOD, and He will judge us according to his laws & commandments based on our heart's desires, works & faith. ( BOM, 1st Nephi 10: 20-21) The most beautful thing being LDS: I have choices, I can pray to ask anything, I can even recieve personal revelations. I also know if I do evil, and not repent I will suffer eternally. ( BOM, Helaman 12 25-26) We are all sinners, but through the atonement we have the gift of repentance, if we don't repent and come unto the Lord we may miss out on the greatest opportunities to come. (BOM, Helaman 12:23 & 3Nephi 9:13-14)

Hi, I'm Robyn and I'm a Mormon. - People

I'm a mother, a wife, a friend, and a Pediatric Nurse. I love children and I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love my Savior.

About Me

I love to do crafts, garden, and shop at boutiques and craft stores. I have three older boys and a young daughter. My older boys are biologically ours and our daughter is adopted. She came to us when she was almost 4 years old. it was a miracle to our family. She has been a great blessing to all of us. She just turned 8 and was baptized. She was able to have her brother, who is serving a mission in Hawaii, speak at her baptism, via taped video talk about the Holy Ghost. It was the highlight of her baptism. I am a YW advisor over the Laurels and I absolutely love my calling. I love being with the YW and spending time with children. I work part time as a pediatric RN at an urgent care facility in the Salt Lake area. I also volunteer at the Conference Center in the Health unit during General Conference and when other events are held there. I have a missionary serving in Hawaii and I love to send emails and packages. I get really excited every Monday because I get an email from him on that day. I love hearing about the experiences he is having teaching the gospel to those who have never heard about the Plan of Salvation and how we can be Eternal Families.

Hi, I'm Mallory - People

I'm 19. I sing in my car, dance in my room, and dream of the future...and yes, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My eyes have traced the contours of the Louvre’s Venus di Milo. My hands have held sweet children. My feet have drilled blistering holes into the marley floor of dance studios and stages. My nose has smelled the passion at Constitutional Restoration meetings. My lips have sung in testimony and prayer at church and school. My ears have matched emotion with tone while reciting poetry. My fingertips have graced Debussy on the ivories of a grand piano. My veins have electrified with adrenaline at state and national pom competitions. My mind has blocked from the demands of writing for the school newspaper. My nails have itched burrows into my skin from chronic eczema. My heart has sunk from knowing of a suicidal brother. My spirit has felt God’s love in the Mesa Temple’s Easter Pageant. My self has felt renewal through genealogy and temple work. My past has lived in abundant opportunity through family and the gospel. My present lives “line upon line, precept upon precept” with hope in God’s plan. My future will live for my posterity.

Hi, I'm Todd - People

I grew up in Arizona. I'm a certified scuba diver. I go to school to become an airframe and power plant mechanic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a senior in high school and loving it. I am attending a technical school to become a pilot or an airframe and power plant mechanic. Though I want to join the Air Force, I hesitate at that option because I am not sure how I can raise a family, like my parents did, while in the Air Force. I am a Venture scout and I have obtained the rank of Eagle Scout.. Through scouts I discovered scuba diving and fell in love with it. I hope to one day become the master of sky and sea. I have four siblings and two wonderful parents. When I was eight years old my oldest brother passed away of rhabdomyosarcoma (in other words cancer). Though I remember crying I don't feel like I really knew what happened. It was probably easier for me because my birthday was the day after. Though now I am saddened by the fact that I never really knew him, I have a testimony that I will have that chance to know him. Today his example has influenced my life. My favorite story of him is from the weekend after his first chemotherapy treatment. My parents couldn't find him in the house and then they heard the lawn mower outside. They came out to see him mowing the lawn even though he had to be feeling very week and sick. Since hearing that story I have recently tried to work harder and complain less. I love my family, I love my brother and I actually love school.
