Hi, I'm Josh - People

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am not what you would consider to be a typical mormon. I enjoy watching football on sundays, my favorite hobby is one that involves replica firearms that shoot real projectiles at high velocity at another human being, and I dislike anything that has the letters B, Y, and U listed in that order. I am far from perfect. At work my Golden Rule is "do unto others before they do unto me." I avoid most social situations as people have the annoying habit of frying my last nerve. And I've even been known to let loose a swear word or two when someone or something invokes my dissatisfaction. So why do I tell you all this? The reason a simple. I may be one who dislikes all the cliches and idiosyncrasies of mormon culture, and I may be that guy who fits in more than with democrats than republicans, but I am a Mormon. As a mormon I have very strong beliefs in very real truths that would be against my very nature to deny. In short, I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's true church and even a guy like me should never deny it.

Hi, I'm Roger - People

I grew up in East Tennessee, joined the army, met my future wife Claire. We have 7 children & 22 grandchildren. We're Mormons.

About Me

My wife and I are retired. We share interests in books, movies, photography and travel. Knowing why we are here on this earth and where we came from and where we strive to go after death, gives real meaning to our lives. Being members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since 1967 has strengthened our marriage, helped us raise our big family and got us through the trials of this life. We are celebrating our 50th wedding this year and the children are coming to Daytona Beach to be with us from all over... Alaska, Colorado, Utah, Tennessee, Florida and maybe Texas. Being members of our church is like being part of a big family, each doing his or her part in the activities and organizations of our local ward(congregation). There are always activities going on for families and singles that encourage getting to know one another and having fun. This has been the church environment we raised our family in and it has been a great blessing to our family.

Hi, I'm Grant - People

I live in California and I am a business attorney. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful wife and we have six children (three married and three in college) and currently six grandchildren. I love my family and enjoy spending time with them. We love playing board games. Two of our sons actually created their own board game which we often play when we are together. I also like to garden. It is a nice break from the stress of being an attorney. One of my sons and I built a three pool stone water fountain in our front yard. Another son help me build a curved stone path lined with lilies. We live in Southern California, so we have great weather that allows us to grow various types of palms and several tropical plants, including some exotic fruits such as passion fruit, loquats, and bananas. I am also the managing partner of a law firm, so I deal with both litigation and transactional legal matters, as well as a lot of administrative and employee related issues throughout the workweek.

Hi, I'm Allie - People

I'm a grad student, a teacher, a writer... and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My home is split between Kansas (where I grew up), Texas (where I served a religious mission for 18 months), and Utah (where I was born and currently live). I am the oldest of seven kids, and can honestly say that even if I had picked them myself, I couldn't have chosen a more entertaining, intelligent, unique, and amazing group of people to be my family. I love to learn; that probably explains my initial career interest in journalism. As a writer, you can become an "expert" in anything, simply by talking to the right people and sharing the knowledge they impart. More importantly, as a writer you come to realize that every person you meet has a significant story to tell, if you're only willing to listen. Learning Spanish solidified that realization. It became the catalyst in my desire to pursue a graduate degree in world languages and become a teacher. Language becomes invaluable in learning from and making connections with others. Enabling students to make those kinds of connections has become my ultimate career goal.

Hi, I'm Chris Campbell - People

Skateboarder, snowboarder, guitar player, gamer, that's me on the left, I am an eagle scout I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am serving as a missionary in Minnesota right now, its the best thing I've ever done in my life. I've seen the message we share change peoples lives including my own. It is such an amazing experience having the opportunity to serve my fellow brothers and sisters. I try to be a Christ-like person in everything that I do. I am an eagle scout and love adventurous outdoorsy stuff, my passions include anything on a lake, mountains, hiking, camping, snowboarding, skateboarding, longboarding, rock climbing, and anything out doors where you can get together and have a good time with friends and family. I have played in numerous bands ranging from hardcore to alternative rock playing in venues across Salt Lake City and around the Utah valley. Some of my musical influences are, Underoath, We Came As Romans, A Day to Remember, The Almost, My Children my Bride, Emarosa and any other band with alot of energy that shares an uplifting, positive message. I have been playing guitar since I was 12 and have also recently picked up the bass in my most recent band. I have found that as I have been around others in the music scene that it would be so easy to fall into the habits of the world, but I always seemed to want to hang on to the values that I was brought up with even when it was so easy to fall away. I am a normal person just like any one else other than I found a greater faith in Jesus Christ that cannot be found anywhere else and I want to share that faith with everyone I meet.

Hi, I'm Jeff - People

I am a husband and father and I love my family. That's why I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Professionally, I help manage a small business. At times, this can be very challenging but it is most certainly rewarding. I count myself as one of the very few that truly enjoys what I do for a living. I value the professional friendships I have developed over the years and feel blessed to have worked with so many wonderful people with similar interests and values. However, my greatest happiness is found in spending time with my family. My wife and I have been blessed with five wonderful children. We live in Texas where the people are friendly and open. It is common to be approached at the grocery store with all five children in tow and be asked, "do they all belong to you?" to which I proudly respond, "YES!" It brings comfort to me to know that they belong to me, and I belong to them! I think my favorite activity is Sunday dinner with the family at home, but I also like to travel, watch movies, college football, spend time outdoors, and I am a huge fan of Manchester United Football Club.
