Hi, I'm Rhea - People

I grew up without religion. I love the Spirit that now fills my home. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Throughout my life, I've had an interest in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My parents do not believe in organized religion, so it was difficult as a child and young adult to attend church meetings and fulfill my desire to know my Heavenly Father. As a young unwed mother in 2001, I stumbled upon the Mesa Arizona Temple with my boyfriend and our child while we were looking for Pioneer Park. We entered the visitor center and I was drawn toward the large Christus statue. I fell to my knees in tears of joy as I was overwhelmed with love and a sense belonging. Over the next year and a half, I took the discussions three times, stopping just before scheduling my baptism. I knew I wasn't ready to make that commitment in my current situation. Another year passed bringing a change in my life. I'd moved closer to home and was now a single mother of two on my own. I happened to come across the Missionaries as they were visiting a neighbor in my apartment complex. I invited them in and started the discussions a fourth time. I was baptized and confirmed a member in the fall of 2004.

Hi, I'm Jared - People

I am a full-time student trying to juggle life. I love the outdoors and music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In a way I am just like any other college student. I wake up and go to school every morning and then rush off to work almost immediately after my last class for the day. My nights are filled with studying and finding ways to cram everything else in my life in the little time I have open. Most of the time I want to be playing my guitar or out with my friends and, in complete honesty, taking a nap would be fantastic. I'm an uncle of 6 nieces and nephews and strive to be the coolest uncle I can be.

Hi, I'm Christine - People

I'm a musician, I love to laugh, I'm a daughter of God... and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life and enjoying the world God created for me. I was raised in Indiana by loving parents in a strong Catholic home. My religion was a big part of my life and so was music. My parents were great and they were always involved with all of my music activities. I'm a band geek and proud of it...I don't know what my life would be like without music. I made a big change in my life and joined the Church three years ago. I am currently serving a mission in Idaho and love sharing the gospel with others. I enjoy cooking and sewing and being involved in activities that stretch my creativity. Before my mission, I attend school at BYU in Provo, UT. I love being happy and the gospel definitely brings me that joy. Penguins are pretty cool. I also love socks. I have too many pairs to count. My feet never get cold.

Hi, I'm Neil! - People

I'm from California, I'm a college student, and now I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I've always had a love for reading, hanging out with friends, running, and hiking. I'm a college student now, and although I feared I wouldn't have time to do any of these things, I've actually found my social life has gotten a lot more exciting! I'm not extreme in many things at all, I just like living a well-balanced life, as free of un-necessary drama as possible. Like many college student, I'm not really sure which career to pursue yet, but I'm considering something in the fields of business or law (in other words, I'm considering hundreds of possible majors rather than thousands). I always make time for people. I'm a people person. Although I do like to spend some good one on one time with some good books. Crime and Punishment, Moby Dick, and Absalom, Absalom are some favorites of mine!

Hi, I'm Kelly Reynolds - People

My greatest joy comes from being a wife, a mother, and a friend to many; and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a paralegal degree and worked in the legal field for 8 years. I always thought I wanted to be a career woman until I had my first child, then all I did was dream of staying home and being a mom. My dream of being a full-time mom came true when my husband graduated from college; my second child was 6 months old then, and now we have four children. I spend my days cleaning, doing laundry, cooking, baking, and running kids around. There is magic in the moments when the house is clean, everyone's home for dinner, and we sit around the table as a family and eat and talk. The next best thing after caring for my family is the time I spend with friends. I meet up with my friends for book club, lunch club, and to shop or go to a movie or just have long talks. I also love to work on my family history/geneology and I am ecstatic when I get to travel! As a family we have taken lots of vacations; my favorite family trip was to Hawaii. My husband and I also go on trips, just the 2 of us, and the most romantic get-away we've ever been on was to Jamaica. There is nothing I love more than being a wife, a mother, and a friend.

Hi, I'm Will - People

I grew up in a small town in Arizona. I'm a civil engineer specializing in pipeline design. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have to credit my wife with pointing me in the right career direction. I have been lucky enough to find a career that suits my personality. I am a civil engineer. The continuous learning and education required to be a good engineer keeps me on my toes and keeps my brain active. In my "spare time" I like to explore the Washington DC Area. When at home I like to read (usually business, engineering, or religious books). I also like to watch documentaries (PBS, NOVA, History Channel, Discovery channel, and the like). My wife and I have these hobbies in common. As we are both quiet and introverted it works well. I also enjoy doing activities with my daughter. Our most common activity is probably bike riding, but we also play tennis, play monopoly, and make art projects. Lately we have been trying to cook together more often. This has been fun; once it even yielded good food.

Hi, I'm Kristy Lynne - People

About Me

My family lives in the ward boundaries for the Provo Tabernacle that will soon be a temple! We are so excited to be able to walk. We have two kidlets, two schnauzers, a chicken, rabbits and soon to add bees. So, my family and I are doing our best to make good changes in our lives. Naturally we are making one change at a time so that they are eternal changes. We eat healthy food and have started to share it with others who wish to eat a vibrant food diet. We share the baking portion on our blog soyfreefood.blogspot.com...so we don't lose our recipes and for everyone that asks. :) As a family we are doing our best to learn how to consistently have a clean house. We are on our way to master this! We love gardening and are working on growing heritage seeds in an organic environment. This has been a learning experience that I recommend. We are making modest choices in our home to prepare our son to bear the Priesthood and our daughter to feel her divine worth. All of our princess books have had a modesty makover with permanent black marker and we watch clean movies. Most importantly, we have focused on Family scripture study, prayers, home evening, meals, and consistent consequences; as well as Personal scripture study, callings, prayer, and Charity. We have been so grateful for these changes in our lives. Eating well, cleaning our home, moving our bodies, making modest choices, and keeping the Spirit it our home have become important principles in our lives.

Hi, I'm Michal - People

I'm a scientist, musician, and a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the only child of a single mother, who taught me to seek truth and build my faith from a young age. From her I also developed a love of learning and artistic expression. I play the violin and piano and am building an in-home studio to teach violin. I studied Microbiology in college and eventually earned a PhD with the aim to be a senior research scientist studying infectious disease and the human body's abilities to combat disease. I am married to my best friend whom I met in my college microbiology class. He is a physician, and is training to be a cardiologist. We were blessed this year with a beautiful daughter and I am learning to be a full time mom, which has its own challenges and rewards. I love art, nature, travel, music, photography, baking (and eating!), dancing, and being with family.
