I grew up on a farm and was fond of my pigs. I loved working on a farm and learning how to save hard earned money. My wife and I have saved enough money to support two of our children who are serving LDS on missions. If they knock on your door, please let them in. The message they share can bring you happiness and peace.

About Me

I was born in Utah, raised in Colorado, and became an adult in Alaska where I lived alone on a island for 5 months with no interent, no TV, and no phone service. I love reading books of all kinds and learning about the world around me. I am constantly learning about the world around me and I love it. When not reading I love to be with my friends, play video games, and go rock climbing and spending time out side. I studied Okinawate Karate for five years. I've seen the Grand Canyon. I've hiked to the top of Angel's Landing and survived the climb down. I've seen many wonders of the world and I know that God is there and that all He wants is for us to be happy.

I am a convert of over 30 years I joined the Church when I was 18. I've been in the military, in fact I was home for two weeks after boot camp when I was baptised into the LDS Church. After my discharge from the military, I had the opportunity to serve a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am the father of three children, two boys and a lovely girl. I enjoy reading about history, politics, and enjoy reading about the history of the LDS Church. I am an active member of the local mountain search and rescue team and enjoy being outdoors and helping people. I am working on my private pilot's license, as well a long list of other projects. I am a husband to a wonderful wife and a father of two beautiful girls. My family is everything to me. Knowing that I will be with them for all eternity is one of the greatest truths that bring me so much joy. I work full time as a manager of a commercial truck rental facility. My favorite thing to do other than spend time with family is to snowboard. I like to cook and could always settle down to a good movie.

About Me

I have always been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was baptized when I was 8 years old. I recieved a knowledge of the truthfulness of the Gospel over the years that followed. I am currently sharing the Gospel with everyone I can find as a missionary for the church. I'm devoting two years of my life to the work of the Lord in Pennsylvania. Aside from missionary life, I enjoy music, sports, video games, hiking in my Uintah Mountains, building furniture and many other things. I have a very large family. I am the 8th child out of 9. I grew up in Utah but now I'm enjoying my time in Alabama and the wonderful South East United States. I'm the oldest of my mom's kids but the fourth of my dads. In the home I grew up with two little brothers that will forever be shorter than me...I hope. I love watching college sports, especially when I get to go to the games. I attend BYU and I'm looking to going into mechanical engineering. I've been thinking about aerospace but we will see what the future holds. I absolutely LOVE music. Singing, playing, listening to, and finding new music of many genres is probably my biggest passion in life. My family is also super important to me, and as the youngest of 8 children, I have really enjoyed having the good examples of my parents and siblings to help advise me through life. I love my family! The most challenging and rewarding job I had was being a mother to 3 children. Parenting stretched me physically, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually. However, I had a loving husband and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to help me meet parenting responsibilities and challenges. My reward for persevering is being grandmother to 6 beautiful grandchildren. I love spending time with my husband and family, singing, traveling, and reading. I am a baby boomer who did a career change starting at age 50. At age 54 I completed a master's degree in community counseling. Today, I get to help individuals and families find peace and joy in their lives. I believe great strength comes as we face our fears and inadequacies. I have overcome some of my fears with the Lord's help. I was terrified of singing in front of others, but started voice lessons at age 50 with my oldest granddaughter. The first time I sang a solo, I felt like the Holy Ghost was there with me. I was terrified of heights, I even got stuck on our roof one time. However, after going with our church youth to a rappelling activity, and going down twice, I conquered some of my fear. Although I don't love heights, I am now more comfortable and have sat on the edge of a cliff taking pictures of others rappelling. 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." The Gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me face fears and change my life.

My name is Ben. Born in Alexandria, VA and raised in Jefferson City, MO. I am a economics major at BYU with dreams of going on to get an MBA at MIT. I like knowing how people relate to each other, why they do the things they do, and solving problems. I think people in general are very interesting and I like meeting everyone. I also like to play tennis, soccer, basketball, rock climb (when I can afford it), and pretty much all sports in general. Tennis is my number one though. I love watching tennis, college football, college basketball, and the Olympics. I love MIZZOU and BYU!!! I like to be outside in nice weather and inside watching a movie or playing video games with some friends when its not quite so nice weather. I like life. I love finding and listening to new music whenever I can, and then telling my friends about it. I love going to concerts. I always have a soundtrack for whatever mood I am in. These are all things I absolutely love, but I have put them all on hold for 2 years. I am currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints...the Mormons. I guess there is just something I love a little more than all of that...
