About Me
I grew up in a large family in Canada. Our family moved around a lot and I learned to love travel. I served a mission for the Church in the beautiful land of Finland. After my mission I got a degree in Economics and then a degree in Law. I moved to Arizona to practice law and shortly after passing the bar exam I got married. Three terrific kids soon followed. My practice of whistleblower law allowed me to take some very interesting cases that have had a positive impact on government and allowed me to represent heroic people who stand up against corruption. In 2006 we relocated from Arizona to Georgia. Tragically, after almost 20 years of marriage we divorced. I was shocked to find myself single again; I never imagined divorce would happen to our family. I'm more grateful than ever for the time I get to be a dad to our three great kids. I spend as much time as I can with them and am working on building a cooperative relationship with their mom. Divorce is the hardest thing I have ever experienced. I am recently remarried to a wonderful woman who joined the church after studying the gospel in my brother and sister in-law's home. The kids call her their "wicked-awesome" stepmother! And the adventure goes on. . . I enjoy spirited debate and conversation, politics, comedy, photography, outdoors, mountain biking, running, skiing and yes, I know it dates me, but I'll admit it, I like alternative 80's music!

About Me
I am a divorce with four children, three of which have special needs (one bipolar, one autism, and one low tone). I use the gospel in my life daily, it helps me to cope with any situation and show my children who I am and what I believe. I work as an ICU nurse full time and am returning to school to hopefully graduate with my nurse practitioner. I am also the ward singles rep and am thanful for the oppourtunity the singles programs give me daily to interact with other LDS singles and the friends I have made. I love to go to the Temple and learn all I need to know to return home to live with my Heavenly Father some day!!

About Me
As a single mom of two boys, life is not easy. Being divorced has its challenges! But when I look around at all the blessings I have, including wonderful family and friends who help me so much, I realize I have much to be thankful for. I love to dance, take photos of God's creations, and spend time with those I love most. I worked very hard to get my college degree and I encourage my sons to try their best in school and to set goals for their own education.

About Me
I am a mother of 2 and a step-mother of 4. I have worked my entire adult life, until recently, as a cosmotologist for 8 years and an accountant for 10 years. My hobbies and interests have changed thoughout the different stages of my life. As a young adult, in my 20's, I spent most nights and weekends at the lake water-skiing. As I approached 30, I changed to horseback riding, barrell racing, and a little team roping. During my 30's, divorce plagued my home and I became a single mother which resulted in having to give up the expensive hobbies and focus more on family. I have always enjoyed all outdoor sports mountain biking, snow skiing, camping, fishing, golfing, hiking, and the list goes on. I have never considered myself musically talented but I enjoy a little bit of piano playing and am teaching myself violin. I also enjoy drawing, painting, and using charcoals and pastels. Genealogy has become a recent obsession. Each individual I find is like opening a box of chocolates. You never know what your gonna get. No two people are alike or have the same story.

About Me
I started college this summer and have been having the time of my life. I'll admit, it can be really tough trying to adjust to a whole new lifestyle and place, but I've learned a lot about myself through the process. Its hard to balance everything I want to do with my new "grown-up" responsibilities. I love to go running. I'm an avid shopper. I try my hardest to spend as much time possible with those I love. I teach every third Sunday in church. I work part-time. I'm in college full-time. I love my life and all the craziness that comes from trying to balance all of these things.

About Me
I am one of seven siblings. I grew up in the military, an army brat, and have lived all over the United States. Because of that I have friends from many cultures and faiths. My parents instilled the value of education in me, as well as, the love of travel and learning about other cultures. I enjoy reading, yoga, hiking, exploring, watching movies, theater, and staying up all night playing board games with my family laughing till our sides hurt. I have recently become passionate about genealogy, thanks to the TV show "Who Do You Think You Are?" I can spend hours on the website http://familysearch.org. The other three things I am most passionate about are my children. I am a divorced mother of three. My kids are my life. They make me who I am. I am constantly in awe at what I have learned from them or because of them. And they are just plain the coolest people ever! I am a dental hygienist, a model/actress, and a makeup artist with Mary Kay cosmetics.

About Me
I was married for almost 14 years and my fourth child was only a few months old when my then husband decided being married to me was too hard. Of course, the story is much more complicated than that and involves years of struggling with mental problems, but my life is not about my past, though it has helped to shape who I am today. Being a single mom is not easy. I feel I never rest. My kids are involved in many different activities, and sometimes I feel like I do nothing but drive up and down my street all day long. My kids are 15, 13, 9 and 3. I am 36. I also own my own business that I do out of my house. Financially, we are struggling, but the Lord has blessed us to be able to live within our means. I enjoy quiet time. It is so precious to me. Time to be able to read and ponder. I also love being with my kids and my family and dear friends. We enjoy simple things, like walks or movies or just story time. One of our favorite things to do is see musicals at the local theater. I have been dating someone that I met online. Online dating was always something I scoffed at, but I'm so grateful for Justin. It has been an incredible blessing to be able to talk to and relate with someone who understands so much of what I have gone through and am currently going through.

Originally from Staten Island, N.Y., I am married with 4 daughters living in Texas. I question everything and I'm a Mormon.
-
-
About Me
I was born in Staten Island, N.Y. After my parents divorced, I moved to New Jersey with my mother. I spent most of my childhood shuffling between Staten Island and various towns in NJ. Over the years, I have lived in NY, FL, NJ, UT, HI, NV, CO, MI, TX, Korea, Taiwan, and China. My mother joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, after she divorced my father, when I was 7 years old. Nonetheless, I spent my childhood in a predominately Catholic family and even went to Catholic school. My wife and I met in college. After we married, we traveled around the world as much as possible working and continuing our education. Although we are now the parents of 4 daughters, ages 7 to 14, and we can no longer pickup and travel to another country on a whim, we have tried to instill the same sense of adventure in our daughters. We spend a lot of our time supporting them in their educational, athletic, musical, and church activities in an attempt to raise intelligent, strong, and confident young women. And, when we can, we still go out on family adventures. Professionally, I work in international logistics. Although this is not what I thought I would wind up doing when I was in graduate school, I have found it interesting and it provides for my family. Recently, my wife and I also started our own import business hoping that someday it might give us the financial freedom to to provide for our family, serve the Lord, and continue our adventure.

About Me
I grew up and went to school in Wyoming. I graduated in Dental Hygiene. I worked the day I had my eldest son and have not returned, that was nearly 13 years ago!!! I did grow up in a part-member family. My parents split when I was in high school and later divorced. My siblings have all left the church. My mom remarried, this time in the temple and I have been sealed to her and my step-dad! I married a returned missionary in the temple and had 4 kids. Things didn't go as planned, after 10 years I found myself a divorced single mom of 4. I remarried and gained 4 step children and know what it is like to live apart from your husband due to work. My passion is to design and create one of a kind appliqued baby quilts. I am currently trying to make it into a business. I also enjoy doing any sort of crafts, hiking, being outdoors with my family, refinishing furniture, home improvements, and working on personal and family history, and attending the temple. Above all, it's My FAMILY!

About Me
I have played the piano for 14 years and the organ for 7 years. I love to sing alto, and I work PT as a choir accompanist. I offer piano lessons and love teaching my students. I will graduate with a Bachelor's in English in August and then will put in paperwork to go for my Master's in Communication. I want to teach Public Speaking at the high school or community college level. I also sew, crochet, cook, organize, write novels and poetry, and keep a journal. I also love to play volleyball and badminton, go swimming, horseback riding, camping, rollerblading, bicycling, and just plain driving. I love to watch movies and listen to music all the time. My son is very smart! He has a huge vocabulary and stuns us all the time with new words, phrases, and full sentences. He has so much love and energy that he is the adrenaline that keeps me going everyday without giving up on life, especially after an awful marriage and painful divorce.

About Me
I am the youngest of sixteen. They're not all blood siblings, for the record: five blood, four step and six "adopted" siblings. I grew up wanting to be an English teacher and double major in Music, because I've always been passionate in choir and band...and I've always had an interest in massage therapy, but now this thought has come to me about nursing? I'm not entirely sure of what I'm going to do with my life yet. I used to do 4-H, raising sheep, with my siblings. We then moved to a bigger town, so that discontinued. (I've moved lived in three different places, but several different houses.) I did a bit of modeling, but it wasn't serious; mostly for a Bridal Shop doing prom dresses and things...so not too impressive. I am learning the ukulele and loving it! I have tried guitar but there's way too many strings for me. I'm also teaching myself piano (I can play a few hymns...that's the extent of my talent, for now.) I'm a happy person; I love to laugh and have fun with my friends. I'm shy and quiet, until you get to know me. I'm a worry-wart, a perfectionist, a crier, a lover, not a fighter and I believe in being honest. I'm understanding and try not to be nonjudgmental, but I struggle with humility and vanity; I'm nowhere near perfect, but I'm forever striving. When I was younger I was set on going on a mission, but now there's this handsome fella...so who knows what will happen. All I know is that I'm serving a mission sooner or later!
