Hi, I'm Lynn - People

I live in Southwest Idaho. I love my family, our neighbors and our community. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband was serving in the US Air Force when I married him. During his Air Force career we lived in Wyoming, Illinois, Texas, California, England and Germany. His last assignment took us to Idaho.Though neither of us had ever lived in this state before, we found we really liked it here, so when my husband retired, we stayed. Our children have grown up, married and moved away from our little community. However, they return often - with our grandchildren - as this is "home" to all of us. Since his first retirement, my husband has worked in the Technology industry for almost as many years as he served in the Air Force. I continue at the same job I've held since we married. I care for my husband, our family and our home. I love this job! It gives me time to serve as a volunteer in the schools, in the community, in Scouting, in Humanitarian efforts, in the Church and in doing Family History and Temple work. Besides these volunteer efforts, I also enjoy sewing and making quilts, hiking and bicycle riding with my husband and family. We also enjoy finding Letterboxes together with the grandkids.

Hi, I'm Bryon - People

I'm one lucky dad and husband, a chief financial officer, a believer -- I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I wish I could say I were a champion skiier, mountain climber, golfer or olympic athlete. I'm none of those things. I am, like so many others, a man of great aspirations and of many shortcomings. Still, I've made some great choices along the way. My sister and I were raised in a loving home by supportive parents. Although they were raised Mormon, they had "fallen away" in their teen years. However, after they were married, they wanted their home to be a place of refuge, a house where faith, love, hope and charity would be exhibited and not just taught. They searched for God and found Him in the faith of their parents and ancestors. It is in this environment that I was taught and developed faith in Jesus Christ. I accepted a call to serve a mission and to share the glad message of the gospel with the Japanese people. It is on thissame foundation my wife and I determined to build our family. It is also on the moral principles of Christ's teachings that I have tried to base my work and community service. It is when we have best applied these principles that we have enjoyed the peace, joy and abundant life promised by Jesus Christ.

Hi, I'm Rick - People

I grew-up in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont which has been a great blessing for me. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, father, business leader, entrepreneur, community leader and active church participant. I have a love of working, especially the entrepreneurial spirit, with the focus to make a positive difference in the lives of those around me and around the world. I have been blessed to have so many good people in my life and opportunities for many trials; as well as, many blessings. In May of 2011 I was recognized as the National SBA Small Business Person of the Year for 2011. I was also the Vermont SBA Small Business of the Year for 2011. Without a doubt I believe my business pursuits have been directed by the Lord!! Too many meetings and business activities have occurred after sincere prayer that has then provided me with an impression, an idea or other avenues of approach that have helped guide my path. Now I am finding opportunities to speak at commencements, rotarites, chamber of commerce and other business venues where I am finding a new voice by encouraging others to also make a positive difference in their worlds. Uniquely the Lord has slowly placed good people around me and in new ways I am finding that the Lord is teaching me about leadership where faith is the guiding principle. I have a painting of George Washington on bended knee in my office. It has become a halmark of my leadership. Until recently I don't think the realization or the impact that the Lord has allowed me to have on others has been recognized by me or the joy it brings.

Hi, I'm Lara - People

I'm a busy mom, wife, and friend. I'm also a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a large, loud, and complicated family. In highschool I did ballroom dance, chior and musical theatre. I met my husband in collage and have been married 5 years. We have an adorable son named Micah. I am now working on a masters degree. While my husband works on a Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine. Eventually my career goal is to be an adoption agent. My husband and I love to travel and meet people of different cultures. We have been to countries in Asia, Europe, and South America together. We also love to host travelers in our home whenever we are able. My husband speaks 4 foreign languages and is fluent in three. I have tried to learn Spanish three times , and still can barely introduce myself. I enjoy talk radio and socio-political books as well as historical fiction, self improvement books, and good page turners like Harry Potter. My heroes include George Washington, Mother Teresa, and Esther, as well as Nephi from the Book of Mormon. My husband is also my hero, because when he joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints as a teenager he was persecuted most bitterly from his closest family members. Yet he held to the truth that the Lord had told him and has never departed from it. His faith, courage, and determination are an inspiration to me.

Hi, I'm Carolyn - People

I grew up in Idaho. I am married and have three wonderful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I am working on finishing my bachelor's degree. I have always loved learning and education! When I was in college, my husband and I had our first child. After he was born, he began exhibiting some autistic tendencies, and I knew that for his sake, and also my sake, I needed to stay home and be his mother. I had to withdraw from college during my senior year, but I have never second-guessed my decision to do that. I always knew that being his mother was my first and most important job. My son's condition improved, thanks to a miracle and many blessings from the Lord, and twelve years later, I had the chance to go back to school and take classes to finish my degree.

Hi, I'm Judy - People

I grew up in Mesa, AZ. I'm a mom and grandmother, a lifelong student and educator and a business person I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happiest with myself when I am learning and growing in new ways. Education has been my passion all my life and I have studied diligently to know about each new opportunity I have embarked on, both temporal and spiritual. If you need to know more about photography, financial services, insurance, restaurant operation, or speech therapy, I say, "Find a book or ask somebody!" When you stop learning, the world shrinks and your soul atrophies.

Hi, I'm Lisa - People

I'm a Mormon. I'm a descendant of Mormon pioneers. I put my nursing career on hold to become a wife and mother, and I love it!

About Me

Thirteen years ago, I married a wonderful man, and a few years later I became a mother to the first of my three sons. I realized then that even though my husband still had years of schooling ahead of him, and money was very tight, it was very important for my children to have a full time mom. So we made real sacrifices. I left my career as a Registered Nurse, and I started a much more difficult career as a mother. We have lived in 3 of the 5 largest cities in the U.S., and we have learned so much from each place where we have lived. Looking back it was totally worth it, and I would do it again. When money was tight, I learned to appreciate the little joys in life. I took my babies to the library, and started a book club. I took long walks in city parks. I visited free exhibits at museums. Now I still love to read. I love going to the opera with my husband. I love to ride horses with my dad. And I am learning to play tennis.
