Hi, I'm Paul - People

I'm a Mormon and use my bachelor degree to clean windows for a living. It's the means for ample family time.

About Me

I'm a father to three boys and one girl and a husband to a beautiful wife, Whitney. I've worked with the youth for over seven years and really love the outdoors as my classroom as we learn and teach priesthood and scouting values. As a profession, I own and operate a small window cleaning business which takes me into the homes of many types of people of many religions and cultures. I love to observe family values in these homes and have found many of these home to have exceptional family values. I love working with the people. Clean windows is just a fraction of the satisfaction I get from my line of work. I'm able to make time for family, church, and my hobbies. One of the things I like to do more than any other recreational activity is backpacking into high mountain lakes or desert canyons. Gardening and keeping up my yard is a favorite pass-time and playing with my kids is relished, especially when life gets busy.

Hi, I'm Tim - People

I'm a Mormon, have seven children and a great wife. We enjoy each other and we have fun boating year-round.

About Me

I'm a retired electrical engineer. After a long career, my attention has turned to my children and their families. Time moves faster as I get older, so my focus is on using every day to help others and do something to improve with the years I have left. Working part time as a handyman, fixing leaky faucets or broken computers keeps me busy. I voluteer with Boy Scouts as a merit badge counselor, teaching Citizenship in the World, Motorboating, or Water-skiing. My church callings keep me running. I'm currently the ward mission leader and I sing in the choir. It's lucky that the choir director lets me participate since I don't sing that well, but I'm trying to learn and do better. My wife and I are planning to go on a mission when our youngest children graduate from high school. I hope we get called to someplace warm, but wherever it is we'll serve with smiles because we know the Gospel will bring happiness. The Lord always blesses you when you learn and follow His commandments.

Hi, I'm Sarah - People

They span high school, middle school, and elementary schools, and I feel like a full time secretary and counselor, tutor and teacher, moderator and negotiator, motivator and cheerleader, chauffeur and guide. Hi, I'm Jared - People

About Me

Hi, I'm Jared. I've loved to learn all my life, and so, no surprise, I became a teacher! Although endorsed as a language arts teacher (I love the art of words and the power of writing throughout the ages), I also love astronomy, history, biology, anatomy, visual arts, and social arts and culture. My wife and I found each other via online dating (yes, it can work!), and have one beautiful child. For hobbies, I enjoy hiking, creative writing, analytical writing, designing solar systems, and designing "alien" societies. I also love video games, where I can experience virtual realities or simulations (which works well when you like to write sci fi or fantasy).

Hi, I'm Aaron Green - People

I'm a hungry patriot, politician, martial artist, astronomer, full-time worker, husband, a humorous father and a I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the martial arts. Next to my Father in Heaven I credit my study of Taekwondo to what level of confidence and physical skill I have. The arts were there at an early age to facilitate normalcy of a medical condition that could've cost me my life. Though I am unable to actively pursue the arts as I once did I do honor and sustain it's precepts in my life. I am a patriot. I am loyal to the flag of the United States of America and the Constitution upon which this nation is built. Though my service in the United States Army was brief it did help me maintain a humility and awe for what it takes to defend the interests of this nation. May the flag so wave to the satisfaction of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and all the great men and women who have served honorable capacities for this nation. Especially those whose names are lesser or not known. I am honest. I've learned hard that honesty is the truest and best policy which to base your life. Though difficult and may put you in a pickle honesty will set you free. With honesty you are worthy of the freedom and liberty afforded you by your nation and God. With honesty you qualify yourself of the love of your friends and family. I love astronomy and the study of celestial events. I love history and the volumes it teaches us about the future. I love computers, internet design and it's proof of the glory of God - intelligence. I guess to break it all down into a nutshell I am a child of God.

Hi, I'm Aleta - People

I'm a tax accountant, a photographer, a MOM and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been working as a tax accountant for over ten years now even though I don’t feel old enough to have worked that long. I married my high school sweetheart and have now been with him for more than half my life. He is my best friend. We have four great children, three boys and one princess. We moved to Idaho several years ago and love the slower pace and the wonderful outdoor activities that are so close. As a family we enjoy backpacking, camping, boating and seeing God’s beautiful earth. I started taking pictures of my kids but then turned the camera to the nature around us. I love taking pictures of sunsets and lakes so that I can share the beauty of the moment and help share images of places and moments that not everyone has the opportunity to see. I also love to share my talent with my friends by taking family portraits. I love capturing beauty. I love being a wife and a mother. I also enjoy being an accountant and providing for my family.

Hi, I'm Valerie Jean - People

Married to a private investigator. We have 3 children. I love being a wife, mom and business-owner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Elder Boyd K. Packer said, "The ultimate end of all activity in the Church is that a man and his wife and their children can be happy at home." I can say firsthand that I know what it's like to be a part of a happy family. In this regard, I am the luckiest wife and mother on the planet. Our children are teenagers, and yet they still open up to me about anything and everything. I treasure my husband and children more than I can say. I have numerous other blessings as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have a strong desire to share my testimony of the gospel. I do struggle with weaknesses and various different trials, specifically health issues. But it helps me to remember the good moments outweigh the bad ones. Oh how they do! The gospel of Jesus Christ enables me to have this perspective, regardless of the trials my family and I are going through. I enjoy reading mostly for secular and spiritual learning, journal writing, photography, creative writing, going to the movies isn't movie popcorn the best?!, helping others, social networking on the internet, blogging, spending time with my friends, immediate and extended family and I've been known to play a game of spider solitaire or two. If I'm listening to Michael Buble, one might catch me dancing. I very much enjoy going to the temple. I have taken numerous college classes on different campuses and online. I absolutely love learning. My husband is a private investigator. He is good at what he does and more importantly, he enjoys his job. I do not work outside the home. A great deal of my time and energy is spent towards my family and taking care of our daughter who has special needs. She has over 15 doctors. My sons have some health care issues as well. But I am grateful that my children have doctors and medication to help them. The inconvenience of doctor's appointments is a small price to pay for necessary health care. Somehow, our children rise above their trials and keep on going. They each have accomplished good things and I am proud of them, especially for the good choices they make. I am so grateful to my husband, and for the love and patience he shows to me. He is also one of the funniest people I know. I love him dearly. I am excited for this opportunity to share my beliefs about Jesus Christ. I welcome comments on my blog page.

Hi, I'm Dave - People

I'm a language lover, a music maker, a multicultural food devourer, a teacher of my kids and grandkids. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love pulling people closer into my circle and expanding my circle to include them. I love the languages and cultures and the people of Central Asia, and I enjoy being a language administrator. Most of my co-workers are Muslim, and I love working with them as we create textbooks, multimedia materials and mobile apps for Turkic and Iranian languages. We also teach language and culture to students from academic, business, military and other governmental organizations, many of whom later travel or work in Afghanistan, Western China or various Eurasian countries. I enjoy creating music, vocal and instrumental. I also love roller coasters and stormy weather. I’ve been laid off twice. Despite trials and defeat, I have always felt a success as a parent, and as a result, I’ve felt successful in general. I love my wife. She is an organizer extraordinaire; her influence as a teacher of youth cannot be measured. We are empty nesters with six amazing adult kids, a daughter and five sons. We have a bunch of wonderful grandkids. My favorite age is the teenage years. I love having teenagers; it's when their hearts and minds kick in in full gear. Teenagerhood -- well prepared for -- is a joy. Real travel for me starts where English is not spoken and dollars are not used. I love eating international foods of all sorts and discussing them with my family. I enjoy talking to folks of all sorts; I love learning from people who aren't like me.

Hi, I'm Melanie - People

I'm a wife and a mom of 3 little kids. I sew costumes, volunteer at school, tell bedtime stories, and am acquainted with grief.

About Me

I'm a homemaker of a sweet girl who is almost a first-grader, a rough and tumble four-year-old boy, and a smiley baby boy. With a new baby I struggle to find free time, but I always have some kind of project going on the side (or more like three or four that I rotate from one thing to the next). Right now, I'm sewing fabric quiet book pages to try to tame my children in church. After the birth of my daughter I experienced post partum depression. It was the hardest year of our ten years of marriage I think. A couple of years ago I lost my mother to cancer. She and my dad adopted me as a baby.

Hi, I'm Kathleen - People

I'm a Mormon. I was born and raised in the church as were my parents and their parents and their parents.

About Me

I have been married for 30 years and have been a stay at home mom since our first child was born. I have never regretted staying home with my kids. I didn't have to work and never felt the need to work, both of which I am profoundly grateful. We didn't have the fanciest cars or house and definitely not the biggest toys but staying home with my kids and being there when they got home from school and attending all their activities is something we all are thankful for. I have 4 daughters and 2 sons. Our 4 girls have started their own families and our sons are filling missions for our church and receiving their education. I love to exercise ... ALOT! I like to run, hike, bike and lift weights. I love the ocean even though I live in the mountains. I live in a small town and love the pace of small town life. I have a scooter that I love to ride around to do my errands. I love to watch sports especially football, basketball and baseball.

Hi, I'm Doug Rutherford - People

I grew up in Washington and So. California. I do tech support for call centers. Involved with ham radio & emergency response.

About Me

I'm a husband, a father to 3 cute blonde girls born 2001, 2003, & 2006. I got my Bachelors degree in 2006 in Information Technology & Network Administration. I work from home supporting customers that use call center technologies. I like camping & taking trips to new places. This also helps me enjoy another hobby, photography. I enjoy spending time with my family. think if I could get paid to travel the world with my family, take pictures, and write about the places we visit & things we do, I would do that. I enjoy playing with different operating systems. One of my first jobs was supporting the technology of an accounting firm and I worked for them for about 18 months before I got my own PC at home which I picked out all the parts for right down to the brand of memory. All my relatives, even my non-technical ones had been switching to Mac computers and eventually I did as well after Windows VIsta came out. However I enjoy learning a variety of operating systems including Mac, different versions of Windows, Ubuntu, Fedora Core Linux, Chrome OS, CentOS, Live Android, etc. I have also done some personal projects with digital video editing and have enjoyed creating via that outlet. I like a variety of music and listen to music while I work, drive, or whenever I can. I still play video games from time to time and my kids love when I play kid friendly family games on the Wii.
