Hi, I'm Michael - People

"I am called [a] Mormon ... I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God."

About Me

I am the oldest of four, and an uncle to the most adorable nephew and nieces in the world. I grew up in a small city in central California--small by California standards, anyway--and attended a university in but not OF Utah where I earned two degrees in physics, and now live in southern Nevada where I am an adjunct professor at a community college. I enjoy reading spy thriller novels, baking, spending time with friends, taking leisurely walks in the cool of evening, and keeping up with news and world events.

Hi, I'm Guy - People

I enjoy time in this schoolhouse we call life as a father, grandfather and being happily married for eternity. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of a son and two daughters and a grandfather of a grandson, three granddaughters, and one eternal granddaughter. I am happily married and sealed to my angelic eternal companion, Sue, since November 2005. I am a full life Seattleite, worked for a local aircraft company for over 35 years, love the outdoors and music. I used to hike, bike, ride horses and have volunteered with the fire department, Red Cross and a prominent therapeutic horseback riding association. I now have the privilege of being with my wonderful wife. Since she has a health challenge that requires the use of a wheel chair for her mobility, we enjoy walks, picnics, movies, our pets (Cinder in the picture) and as much time together as we can. My wife Sue is truly my saving angel in this temporal life.

Hi, I'm David - People

I grew up in the Church. I love to read, talk about God, and be with my family. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a 20 year old young man who is currently serving a Mission. My hobbies are testifying of the Restored Gospel, reading the Bible, the Book of Mormon and other scriptures, and napping. I get really tired from the work I do (who doesn't) but I know that my work is God's work. I love to read, it's my favorite hobby. I'm developing a love of the scriptures while out here that I know I will keep throughout my life. I tend to lean towards realism, so I like my life to be well defined. I don't like abstract art or abstract thinking. Give me something solid that I can work on. I love to be with my family. They are my best friends in life. I'm working hard now to make sure that I can be with my family for all eternity.

Hi, I'm Kim - People

I’m Canadian. I’m a husband and a father. I’m a communications sepcialist and a volunteer. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I married in the Seattle Washington Temple in 1995, only six months after I returned home from the Utah Provo Mission. We have four children. I come from a family of a sister and three step-brothers. My mother and step-father have been together since I was four, so I refer to my step-father and step-brothers as my father and brothers. In April 2010, I was laid off as an employee at the local university, where I had worked for nine years. We decided to start a home schooling supply business, focusing on our local region, an area not specifically served by any company despite having the highest concentration of home schoolers in the country. In April 2011, I decided to go back to school to finish the bachelor’s degree I started in 1997. I am majoring in drama. In my spare time, I serve on local community boards and committees, and I have a passion for municipal politics. I even ran for public office once. I enjoy camping, creating, gardening, and spending time with my family.

Hi, I'm Larry - People

I'm a Mormon, and I was born in the covenant.

About Me

I just turned 71, and the older I get, the more important my beliefs become. I served in the US Navy between 1958 and 1961. My Navy career ended when I became a paraplegic as a result of an auto accident. That has now been over 50 years ago. It took me awhile to adjust to the sudden change in my lifestyle, but when I did, I decided that my life was going to go on. I have now been married for over 30 years. The real anniversary we celebrate though, is the date of our Temple marriage. And we will celebrate 30 years of being married for time and for all eternity in 2012. Over my younger life as a paraplegic, I participated in trap and skeet shooting, bowling, fishing and generally loving the outdoors. I owned a Ranger Bass Boat and loved to go fishing on lake Havasu, Arizona. My good fishing buddy, who owned a home in Lake Havasu City, passed away a few years ago, so my desire to go fishing came to an end. My wife and I have gone to lake Powell and to lake Mead, but now it is to pull the Grandchildren on water skis and wake boards, which is a great delight.
