I'm a Mormon.I live in Mesa, AZ and work for a Pest Control company.I love music & love playing the piano and drums.
-
-
About Me
I've always been a fan of music. I started piano lessons at an early age, thanks to my mother teaching me. Throughout this process, I decided to learn another instrument in middle school...the drums. I still play both, even though my high school years are gone, with a lot of satisfaction. I've also like sports and usually cheer for my Arizona based teams. I have a large library of music and movies and a new TV to enjoy it on, these days. I love my family, it containing three sisters, and a brother, and many nieces and nephews. My family is one of my greatest joys and a way in which I also have a lot of fun. I have an associate's degree in Construction Drafting, and am looking at doing something in that field. I work a lot at my pest control job, and am having a lot of success in that. I love laughing and goofing around with friends and family, while trying to keep things positive and uplifting. Laughter is the way I fight through the hard times and enjoy the good times. I really love spending time with friends and those that are easy-going and fun.

About Me
I'm a family man, and I'm most happy when I'm at home with my wife and kids. I have two beautiful children who were placed with us through adoption from incredible birthmoms. As a professor at a university in Detroit, Michigan, I teach about educational leadership in urban schools. My wife and I were born and raised in Southern California, so we're transplants to Michigan. We love it here in the D! Between the music, the cars, the museums, and the sports, there is always something going on. I served a mission for my church in Buenos Aires, Argentina. My interests include Legos, the great outdoors, and showing my kids the wonders of this world. My family, my faith in Jesus Christ, my work, and the adoption community all play major roles in my life.

About Me
I have been married for 34 years and have 5 children. Three are married in the Temple. One son is serving a mission in Montana and a daughter is currently working as a photographer at Disneyland. I have more boy grandchildren than girls. The count is 5 Boys and 2 Girls. They are wonderful and seem to grow so quick. While growing up my mother taught me to paint and cook and sew. I learned to make bread and sell it to relatives. My father was an Electrical Engineer. He taught classes on Magnetic fields and has done research on cold fusion which was successful and the process patented. My dad also taught me to play the piano for a few years before I was taught by a professional teacher. My dad fixed and repaired everything at home by himself. I loved watching and would spend hours as he rebuilt various parts of our cars. When I was young he showed me how gas weld, and many wood working tools. Because of this experience I love to repair and fix things and that is how I got into repairing and tuning pianos. I fell in love with a small edition of the Book of Mormon that had illustrations in it. I love the story of the Brother of Jared so much that I named my first son Jared. While I was pregnant with Jared I oil painted my own version of the Brother of Jared based on the oil painting done by Arnold Friberg. Since then I have painted many religious paintings. Many of my paintings I did on commission so I could buy more supplies. I love to paint sunsets, oceans, sailboats, animals and landscapes too, but I feel my spirit grow when I paint gospel themes. I am grateful for family and how it has enriched my life to where I am free to paint and repair. Both of my parents were members of the church and their parents were also. My mothers mothers mother crossed the plains as a child. When I was a teenager I was able to meet Annie before she passed away. I think of her many times of what change she saw in her life time. She entered Utah valley as a pioneer child and witnessed the completion of the Salt Lake Temple and went from covered wagons to airplanes in her life time.

I am a pretty different individaul -- my idea of fun is much different than most other adults my age. Love classical music (Händel, Vivaldi, Bach, etc.) and thoroughly enjoy learning more about the natural world and history. Fascinated with linguistics and anthropology and soon to be studying radiology technology as a change of major. Preparing for a mission a little late, but can not wait for the opportunity to serve my Lord and Saviour.

About Me
Here are a few random bits about me: I'm half Canadian and grew up in Arizona in a really fun family. I started playing the piano when I was 5, and I really wanted to write film scores when I grew up. Instead I ended up creating corporate videos, and now I'm working toward some of my other dreams. I'm analytical and work hard, yet I'm also very social. Right now my favorite thing to do is invite people over for a game night where we all end up laughing our heads off. I also enjoy going to a good improv comedy show now and then. I have this creative restlessness that sort of goes out in every direction, so in my spare time, I arrange choir music or think up new ideas for party games, social TV shows, movies, art exhibits, Facebook apps, and on and on. I'm figuring out how to produce some of these ideas. I also love learning about history, art, current events, comparative religion, science... I'm constantly fascinated by people's expertise in so many different areas.

About Me
I grew up in a small town of grace with my dad and my little brother. over the years we have become very close and have helped each other become closer to the gospel of christ. I learned that the more we come closer to the gospel the more we served each other. God loves each and every one of us and wants us to be with him again. The way we can do that is by following him and his son.

I'm a husband, a father, a software engineer, an author, and I'm a Mormon.
-
-
About Me
I'm a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon). As a Software Engineer and Author, I write SDK documentation, books, computer games, and other types of computer programs. Although I like my job, what's really important in my life is my family. My wife and I have been married for nearly 30 years, and each new day is another day I get to see and enjoy being together with her. After having four fantastic biological children, we decided that we still have more to give as parents and that there are a lot of children out there that need homes. As a result of many miracles, we were able to adopt a beautiful 11-year-old daughter from central Asia. We're hopefully going back this year for a son. Being an adoptive parent has taught me, in so many different ways, that God watches over and cares for all of His children. I probably can't change the entire world for the better. But I've learned that through God's help and guidance, I can make the world better for a few children who otherwise would not have families. Everything that I consider an accomplishment in life has come to me through the love of the Savior and by His grace.

About Me
I was raised by good, hard-working LDS parents. Unfortunately, I developed some serious mental health problems in my youth and I chose to use drugs to self-medicate. I became broken, hopeless, and miserable for years, barely managing to survive. My soul began to hunger, so I stayed home for weeks, reading the entire scriptures (Bible, Book of Mormon, and Doctrine and Covenants) cover to cover, praying often for hope, mercy and guidance. The Grace of Jesus Christ began to work a mighty change in me: and I began to recognize the "still small voice" of the Holy Spirit, and to feel His love and hope for myself and for others. My mind became more clear and firm and my heart was cleansed. I became sober and was led by the Spirit to a class where I met my lovely, wholesome wife who brings out the best in me. I was then led by the Spirit to the Addiction Recovery Program sponsored by the LDS Church; attending these meetings gave me the "tools" to maintain my sobriety. Furthermore, the ARP meetings provided me so many opportunities to give and receive compassion and wisdom and service. I was blessed to witness miraculous changes in the other attendees through the Grace of Christ. My wife was able to earn her degree in BioChemistry and the Lord led us to a great job for her. We have two adorable children. I still love to write music and have recorded my ow album. My music used to be intense, angry, and pained, but now it is uplifting and soulful.

About Me
I earned my MBA in International Business from Thunderbird, and I am also a CFA Charterholder. I work as an equity analyst publishing recommendations on publicly traded companies, I am also a CFA prep course instructor. I am working on a PhD in finance where I am studying a relatively new field of finance and asset management called “impact investing”. Impact investing intends to focus the benefits of capitalism and free enterprise on the most needy in society by investing in –social enterprises- which pursue a dual mandate of positive social benefit as well as financial profits. I have a wide variety of interests from reading history, biographies, classical literature, philosophy, & economic theory related to poverty reduction. Musically my key interest is jazz and anything jazz inspired. On my saxophones (alto and tenor) I play jazz and bossa nova. I also enjoy traveling, cultures, intellectual humor, chess and exercise.

About Me
I am a father of three young boys. Most of my time is consumed by the demands of the military. The training, duty, schools, and deployment are a reality that affects every decision in my family. I remember going to family reunions ever since I was child, so many of the things I talk about to my children are about thier heritage and places I have traveled. My family just came back from a military tour in Germany for three years. We were able see old castles, cities, amd islands.
