About Me
I'm now a college student majoring in Physics here in the Philippines. Someday, I will be famous for discovering another galaxy or being the best geophysicist ever. ^^ I also love writing. I have a journal which I call "Xempre". I write poems whenever I have the urge to. I also started writing fan fictions recently and I'm enjoying it. I actually prefer writing to reach or communicate to others rather than talking to them. I really can't live without papers and pens. I always have them wherever I go. I'm also into music. I was once a pianist on our ward. I can also play the guitar and lyre. Now, I want to learn how to play the violin and flute. I really really love to sing, especially on rainy days. C: Learning foreign languages is also one of the things I'm doing. I'm now on my way to Korean fluency and starting to learn Thai and French. With that, I really want to go to South Korea, Thailand, and France, the most! But I also want to go visit Rome, Japan, and all the Mormon temples in the world.

About Me
I have been a hospital administrator for the last twenty years. I currently am CEO of Mercy Hospitals of Bakersfield of Catholic Healthcare West. I really enjoy working for a faith based organization. During my 7 years in Catholic Health Care I have come to develop a great love and admiration for the mission of the Sisters of Mercy. The Sisters of Mercy are women religious, nuns, who were started by Catherine McCauley in Ireland in the 1840"s. The mission of our hospital is to "continue the healing ministry of Jesus." That mission aligns with my beliefs. I love being a father of 5 wonderful children. Our oldest is married and teaches 3rd grade our youngest is 10. We have a 19 year old son with Down Syndrome. I have learned that my most happiest times are when I am with my family. The greatest joy I have ever experienced is when I am with my wife and children in sacred places, our home being one of them. I am currently training for a marathon with my wife. I have never run one before and I am working hard at it. My wife and I are finding the running together very fun and looking forward to race day.

About Me
I am 21 years old and I am the youngest of seven children. Ever since I was nine years old my life has revolved around two things: gymnastics and school. I did competitive gymnastics for a number of years and now, even when I'm in college, I coach gymnastics. I am studying Audiology and I want to work with deaf children and help them with the different struggles that they can be confronted with. I have an obsession with quotes and organizing. I don't look like my family, but I act just like them. I love my family more than anything and I hope that I will be exactly like my mother when I grow up.

About Me
Things were rough after I discovered my mother murdered. I got into a lot of trouble and wound up in the most grim of circumstances, and felt there was no hope. I then, in the midst of being among the condemned, started to pray. Prayers were becoming answered and I gave much recogdition the God forr his grace. 4yrs ago I picked up the book of mormon and when I'd read my life seemed to become brilliant and glorious. I was raised LDS, but fell off at the age of 14. Now I'm 30yrs old and am living happily due to my willingness to follow the commandments of God and love those around me.

About Me
As my wife puts it, I'm "half way to 60". The first 30 years have been alright. Grew up on a farm in Idaho moving sprinkler pipe, hauling grain, and feeding cows. Now I've lived in Ohio for almost 4 years and am just finishing up my dental schooling. My wife and I have been married for nearly 8 years! Lots of changes coming up soon. Not only are we finishing dental school, but we're also trying to adopt our first little baby. It's been a crazy process, but we're making progress and hope to have a child within a year or so.

About Me
I came from a family of 12. I lived in West Valley City Utah, as a child. My mother and father were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, my mother was very active, my father believed but had a drinking problem and therefore didn't attend. After my teen years I fell away from the church, I married a man who was inactive, and very abusive. I had two beautiful boys and loved them with my heart and soul. I stayed with their father thinking that he could provide a much better financial life for them than I could possibly give them if I were to leave him. But after 12 years of abuse , and a councelor telling me to leave or one of us would lose our lives, I finally got up the courage to leave him. I soon met my second husband whom I truly loved. He too had his issues of alcolhol abuse, but was a good man to me and showed me the love and attention I had so longed to feel. His drinking finally ended us in divorce, but the love never died. He returned in my life one day to say he had a terminal illness. He died 2 years later. I cared for him in his death. My heart broke in thousands of pieces, and that is when I turned to the Lord for help. Needless to say with his mercy, I started going back to church. I felt the spirt and was soon taking temple classes. I never thought that the grief I felt could be filled but with the Lords help, I am here to testify of his love and mercy , that I am now healing.

I grew up moving around the country as the daughter of a Marine Corps pilot. I am a Tarheel living as a Hoosier. I'm a Mormon.
-
-
About Me
My father was in the Marine Corps, so our family moved frequently. Before the age of 13 I had called Jacksonville,FL; Corpus Christi, TX; Santa Anna, CA; Woodbridge, VA; Cherry Point, NC; Virginia Beach, VA; and New Bern, NC home. After my father served in Vietnam and returned to the States we made New Bern, NC our permanent home. I had no church affiliation or many goals as a young girl. I just knew I didn't want the shallow roots of a military life. After marrying my husband we lived in New Bern, NC; Richmond, VA; Indianapolis, IN; Fort Wayne, IN; and eventually settled in Terre Haute, IN. The mid-west proved to be a great place to raise a family. But life would not be without its challenges. We lost a daughter in childbirth in 1989. I lost my dad in 2005 the same year our youngest son decided to enlist in the Army. I lost my mom just 6 months later. Then in 2009 our soldier was KIA only 3 months after arriving in Afghanistan. Thankfully, during my married years I had become a woman of faith. I know that my strength comes from Christ. I have learned the value of good habits, faithful friends, and a supportive community. I believe in the power of prayers. Sometimes I still need to scream into my pillow and most days I count on the release that exercise brings, but I am thankful for the lessons of this new normal. When I find myself missing our son I am able to call on good memories, reach for a hug from a loved one, and look for the opportunities in front of me.
