About Me
I am the youngest of ten children, and loves every second of it. My numerous nieces and nephews are an inspiration and an example to me everyday. I also play the piano and the cello, and love playing for my seminary class. I joined the speech and debate team my sophomore year, and am still continuing to rebuild my high school's team. Often, many of my team members will use profanity or use crude humor, but I refrain from joining in, letting them know that I believe there are better things to say and talk about. often, one person would begin telling a story, and stop short when they realize I am in the room. I am grateful that I have the strength and the courage to stand in the world, but not of the world. I am grateful for my parents who have raised me up in righteousness, teaching me basic principles that will guide me through my life.

About Me
Hi, I am a high school history teacher in a small school of about 500 students. I have been teaching 21 years. I am not married or have any children but I have lots of nieces and nephews. At last count, on January 3, I receieved my 55th nephew. Now that includes nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. I put that in here because my family is very important to me. Since I have not had the opportunity to marry or have children I work to have close relationships with all of these children. My 83 year old widowed father lives with me. He is legally blind and has many health issues. A lot of my time is spent with his care. However, we enjoy a great relationship and I have been blessed with his company for many years. I feel being an active and participating citizen is very important. I have developed a club at my school where I teach my students how to find out who their representitives are and how to know how they voted on various issues and how to contact them. I also have these kids read the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and we discuss it. It is called Project Patriot. I love being an American and enjoy all the blessing we have. I have been in many other countries and there is not a more blessed land on earth. It makes me happy that as a whole Americans are giving and willing to share their good fortune with the whole world.

About Me
I grew up and attended college "out West" and moved to "the South" 29 years ago when I married the man of my dreams. We both came from large extended families and wanted to have a big boisterous bunch of kids; so it was quite a shock to find out, just shortly after settling into our first apartment, that I was suffering from the very advance stages of endometriosis and might never have children. Thankfully I held a teaching certificate and found that being in any elementary school could be very close to being in heaven (albeit a different sort of heaven than I had imagined). Loving other people’s children lessened the ache in my heart and helped get me through the almost eight years of medicines, multiple surgeries, and procedures that left us fruitless, but at least in pursuit. Our real hope was found in our faith. I had been promised children in a priesthood blessing and so my task was to wait on the Lord. After trying every known possible medical intervention except one, we decided to just stop and take the summer off before trying this last surgery. Then is when our miracle happened. We conceived a beautiful little girl and within the next three years —without doctors or medicines—we welcomed a son, and another daughter. Raising our children has been the greatest of all adventures. We have had so much fun. When the kids were little I ran a preschool in our home and as they grew older I volunteered at their schools and in their various sporting and musical organizations. This has given me great opportunities to be involved in things I never would have otherwise, like being a Girl & Boy Scout Leader, directing a club swim team, organizing a community standards campaign, raising Jack Russell Terriers, and joining the American Mothers Association.

About Me
I am a single working woman. I currently work as a contract specialist. I put together contracts with companies to provide services for my company (services include maintenance services, research and development services, consulting services, training, etc.). I love to sing and participate in my church choir and sing with my family whenever I get the chance. I grew up singing with my sisters and love to get together with them whenever I can. I am number seven of ten children (eight girls and two boys). I have over thirty nieces and nephews and over ten great-nieces and -nephews. I have been an aunt since the age of four and love spending time with my family and especially love watching little children grow and develop. It's fun being an aunt to so many nieces and nephews. I also love to go to movies and live theater, read, travel to visit family, and play with my nieces and nephews.

About Me
Adversity will make you strong...remember that Mormonad? Sometimes, I wonder if the Lord gives you all of your adversity in one single dose, is it easier. That has been my experience...and I think it has been a blessing. I'm no where near as Job, for that reason alone...his lasted a lifetime...mine, just a couple years. I think because of that, the healing from each trial (divorce, death, and job loss) kind of all spilled over onto each other. Like Ebaniezer Scrooge requested "can't I just take them all at once and get it over with?". That was a blessing...and here I am now...navigating LIFE AS A SINGLE DAD.

About Me
I went to college to be a math teacher and got my Bachelors Degree in Math Education. I taught both junior high and high school for a short period of time and then found it wasn't a good fit for me. I then started a career in vendor management. I was very good at what I did and passionate. After a couple of years, the company closed. At about that same time, I became guardian of my two nephews who were 10 and 11. Being single and raising a family has been extremely challenging and rewarding. I put off my career for a time so I could focus on the emotional needs of my boys, although I still had to work. I took a job that allowed me to go in early in the morning and then be home before school got out. It was also the type of job that was not demanding emotionally so I was available to my boys. My boys are older now and I have gone back to a career in vendor management. When I am not working, I like to spend time with my boys talking and laughing. I like going to movies or just visiting with friends.

About Me
Dave and I have been married for over six years and have lived in Indiana for the last five. We enjoy doing active things together like running, riding bikes, hiking, and skiing (not in Indiana). Before we knew each other, we each lived in Europe as missionaries for our church--me in Austria and Dave in Italy. Because of our experiences there, we share a love for European food and culture and have set a goal to visit as many times as possible in our lifetime! In college I studied humanities, English, and German, and I enjoy reading all types of literature. I work as a technical writer for a software company, and the best part of my job is being able to work from home. I can wear what I want all day, fold laundry during meetings, and go running (or take a nap) at lunch. I love spending time with my nieces and nephews and look forward to being a mother.
